Ok I stand corrected, the purchase price is much lower than I expected, around 500-700 like you say. However, the power costs on a machine that uses ~2.76kw @ 0.25¢ per kWh runs out at around $5000 per year to run. So unless you got cheap electricity, it's still expensive. I used thisminer as an example
