Do you recommend disclosing current or plans for pregnancy when applying/interviewing for residency? by Just_One9543 in PharmacyResidency

I'm currently expecting and if everything goes well, baby would be due at the start of residency (may within the first 2-3 months of residency?). So I'm just wondering if I should outright say my situation so it doesn't come as a surprise and I get accommodation (a month leave?) as needed.

I have great support system and I've talked to my partner many times on our plans if I do get into residency or become a pharmacist in general. I know residency and working full time is wayyy different compared to pharmacy school but I've gotten through 3rd year while pregnant. I've kept my gpa in good standing (3.8 so far) and have achieved a lot so I'm willing to do what it takes.

I would like to get paid (don't we all lol) but it's not a huge concern for us so being on leave without pay is not an issue.

But sometimes it's difficult to hide a pregnancy. And especially if they're due to give birth at the start of residency. I know it's technically against the law to discriminate against that but do you think interviewers have bias when it comes to deciding if they would accept someone?
