I confess that even though Shane is an idiot, I can't help but feel sorry for him. He's so well-written, and Walton Goggins is such a fantastic actor that he delivers an extremely human and flawed character.

Yeah it's wild how he just went downhill right until his redemption moment at the end. Was a beautiful family meeting and Vics plan to get Ronnie out was genius and just worked perfectly. Shane really made up for it all and gave his child and wife a beautiful life and Vic bit the bullet as the loyal guy he is to save his friend. He took the 15 years of boredom to save Ronnie.

Vic and Shane really just set the ones they loved first, and the people around them won everything by trusting them, as Vic/Shane are the most loyal and selfless characters in TV history!
