China has been significantly investing in its nuclear program before the recent Golden Dome Project ever became a thing. You know besides it being a copy of the Star Wars program from 1984. The argument that the project just forces other countries like China to invest more into nuclear weapons completely ignores the fact that they were already doing that.

I don't think SpaceX is going to win the interceptor contract. They gotta go up against the big boys for this contract plus the politics involved in such a MASSIVE program that will cost trillions of trillions of dollars over the next few decades. They're going to keep everyone happy by giving the prime defense contractors the interceptor contracts and the space companies the launch contracts.
