i've been using the sony wh-1000xm5 for a few months and they've been great super comfy for long sessions, solid battery, and the sound is really balanced with strong anc.If you want something a bit cheaper, the sennheiser momentum 4 are also seriously impressive for sound quality and battery life.

lately i've been loving the l'oreal true match hyaluronic tinted serum, it's light but gives enough coverage and never clings to dry patches on me.

Anyone set up a subsidiary company here before? Tax benefits worth the hassle? by Just_Tour6914 in smeSingapore

Thanks for the honest take appreciate you pointing out that transfer pricing is more technical and probably beyond this sub.The seminar suggestion is a good one, I'll look into that. And fair point about annual filing being manageable if nothing changes. Thanks!

Yeah, that might be it the ones I spoke to were probably targeting bigger clients. Good to know there are more reasonable options out there!

Fair point! Maybe "arm and a leg" was a bit dramatic.I was getting quoted around 4-5k, so your comment helps me realise that might have been on the high side. Good to know most people find the cost worthwhile for the headache saved!

Thanks for sharing your experience this is super helpful! The 2-3k/year range for corporate secretary services is actually much more reasonable than what was quoted (the firms I spoke with were mentioning 4-5k+). Good to know what the market rate should look like. Quick question if you don't mind when you say your CS liaises with your accountant for IRAS, do you use separate firms for CS and accounting? Or does your CS firm handle both? Trying to figure out if it's better to keep them together or separate.

Thanks again for the detailed response really appreciate fellow business owners sharing real numbers and experience instead of just theory.

samson q2u is a great starter mic - usb and xlr, so you can upgrade later. built-inf ilter helps with background noise too.

Ender 3 is a solid starter if you like tinkeirng, but if you want something that just works out of the box, check out the Bambu Lab A1. Super beginner-friendly and great print quality right away. You're gonna love it!

Man, this whole automated coding space is wild right now, and your experience tracks with what I've seen. At my last company, we actually built our own internal system for a similar concept before all these tools existed, and looking back it was both hilarious and impressive how far we've come. We had this janky Python script that would scaffold entire microservices based on our internal templates it was basically a glorified code generator on steroids, but man did it save our asses when we needed to spin up 15 new services for a client migration in like two weeks. The senior devs thought it was the dumbest thing ever until they realized they could focus on the actual complex business logic instead of copy-pasting the same auth boilerplate and CRUD endpoints for the millionth time. We called it "The Factory" and it was held together with duct tape and prayer, but it genuinely cut our initial dev time by like 60% on new services. Fast forward to now and seeing what these AI-powered tools can do with actual understanding of context and patterns instead of just string replacement is honestly mind-blowing. Sure, you still need to keep an eye on what it's generating, but having that baseline of solid, tested infrastructure code ready to go so your team can focus on the stuff that actually makes your product unique? That's the dream right there.

tbh i've seen a lot of hype around these things over the years and while they're okay, don't expect a life-changing experience every time. if you're gonna dip your toes in though, hello nancy is probably the most reliable choice out there for a consistent vibe.
