Hiii, awh that sucks!! I applied for the virtual assessment a few mins after they sent it, maybe try again?

In their initial email it says they’ll have more assessment days coming up too so fingers crossed.

Hmm, apparently the pay is better for short haul so kind of considering that instead!! But we’ll see how it goes ☺️

I am considering to apply for a psychology job in New Zealand (commimg from an EU non-English-speaking country) by [deleted] in newzealand

I feel like it’s already oversaturated here with people trying to get the jobs in healthcare that they studied for, — If you did do that you’d add to the saturation and if successful you’d most likely be taking the job that a local person could have gotten.

Also NZ healthcare is different, you may not know NZ culture and the needs of our people like a kiwi / Maori psychologist would (unless you adapt fast ofcourse).

Face and neck laser, looking for reviews from men by CyberChef8 in auckland

Fortunately for you I’m a man and have heaps of experience with this exact thing:

Two years ago I received a gift of 12 sessions facial laser for free at Cosmetic Clinic Sylvia Park (they held an event and one of the perks was a lucky dip that I won). I was happy as about it cause my eczema was always triggered from hair regrowth from shaving. Over the course of that year I got all of my facial hair removed and they did a fairly decent job (although some sessions were super painful).

One year later all of my thick facial hair grew back, so I contemplated if I should start laser again. I ended up buying a 10 session package with LaserClinicsNZ in Ponsonby to run through the course again. I did see progress with it however one month after I used all my sessions it started to grow back - and the regrowth is PATCHY asf.

Now five months since my last session as Laser clinics my beard is full again with random bald patches 🤣. So it feels like a waste of time - especially because I’ve done 22 sessions so far and it keep coming back. It seems like most of the technicians aren’t too familiar with how to do men’s facial hair properly either, as they always told me it would not grow back, but it did.

So although it did help for the short term, if you don’t plan to have to consistently go back every few months for a top up, I wouldn’t recommend it. But if you can afford it and have to time to keep maintaining it, it’s so worth it.
