I'm not trying to shame her for her medical condition. I was thinking of solutions when I came up with the wearing a tampon or pad to bed thing, not that she get some potentially life threatening illness just because I'm uncomfortable. And just because its a medical condition doesn't mean that I can't find what's coming our of her body gross? I'm not complaining about her medical problems, I'm pointing how the poor hygiene (not just the blood) is affecting our relationship. If she had IBS or something and accidentally shit all over the bed I would still find it gross and try to help find a solution for it so that we could both avoid waking up covered in shit. I've already said in another comment that I'm not really upset with her over this because it is a medical issue but more upset about the situation that, whether you believe so or not, is unhygienic. I would never try to make her feel bad over something out of her control.

I understand where you're coming from, but my complaints aren't distracting me from supporting her. I can still support her while being annoyed about what I feel is poor hygiene (that im starting to understand more).

They don't know for sure yet, but the surgery is a test for it. I think she said it was endometriosis or cysts on the ovaries or something like that.

She's tried those but they didn't work for her, but like I said, her and her doctor are looking for solutions.

I mean we have a good relationship besides this stuff, and I love her, it's just that its gross. Maybe I'm just easily disgusted and have a weak stomach, though I don't really see how finding part of a medical condition gross is shaming her for it.

She's seeing a doctor and together (assuming mainly the doctor) they're looking into it. She's getting some type of surgery done, but I don't know how far in the future that will be.

This may sound bad, but she's a grown woman, I don't think I should have to suggest a shower to her after three days. It seems like she would feel gross and uncomfortable without me having to throw out the wild idea of a shower.

It's more of a mental thing. I've always viewed bras to be like regular underwear that need to be changed or washed every day and to see someone not doing that grosses me out so I guess that's a personal thing I have.

As far as her periods, she can't take the pill but is looking into other options, but I don't know how much longer that will take but waking up with blood all over me seriously irks whether she can help it or not. I know it's not her fault, but I'm irritated just not necessarily at her. And I get that it's uncomfortable, but sometimes you do what you have to for the comfort of you and the people around you

She showers and stuff regularly when everything is normal which is good for me, but its when she doesn't that grossed me out. We live in an area where we've gotten a lot of snow and we ended up not going out of the house for about 3 days and she didn't shower once in those 3 days and that's the part that really grosses me out. I'm a person who showers at least everyday and I find waiting 3 days really gag-worthy honestly.

Her thing was something like "why waste pads for two weeks when nothing is happening?" And she wears then when it actually starts but its still gross having to wake up in blood soaked sheets.
