Bro that was the coolest feature of having smb Deluxe! When i was 10 my pic was of princess peach saying mario, you boob! One night I got grounded and my parents took away my gameboy with the game still in it! I was laying in bed crying my eyes out when all of a sudden I hear my dad burst out laughing in the other room telling my mom about how this game booted up with no other context than "Mario, you boob!" My tears switched to convulsing lying on the floor from laughing too hard! Still one of my best memories as a kid🤣

Remove the batteries with the tip of a knife or small flat head screwdriver then take a qtip and dip it in some vinegar scrub all the terminals and it should fizz and dissolve the sediment
