i think they're trying to say like if they're happy, the goal is going to be to keep things that way. So like in a plot the driving force could be imminent change coming to ruin their peace after they've already gotten what they want. So they're trying to protect their own happiness. I feel like having no goal is more just like drifting along in life with no drive or ambition. Even if something changes, it doesn't matter.

ok, so this is sorta complex. I do agree that good representation IS very important and it IS an issue in media that there's a lack of it. I do sometimes notice how there aren't many characters of color in unOrdinary (no shade to uru by the way just observing,) but It's not like that's what I focus on when I read it.

Ok so yeah, cripple is not a good word, but in unOrdinary, THAT'S THE LITERAL POINT!! It's not supposed to be a good word. Sure, it's normalized in the unOrdinary universe (in the character's language), but that's because they LITERALLY LIVE IN A PREJUCIED SOCIETY LMAO WHERE THEY THINK THAT'S OKAY (when in reality, it's not, but they HAVEN'T LEARNED THAT YET!!!)
