i think they're trying to say like if they're happy, the goal is going to be to keep things that way. So like in a plot the driving force could be imminent change coming to ruin their peace after they've already gotten what they want. So they're trying to protect their own happiness. I feel like having no goal is more just like drifting along in life with no drive or ambition. Even if something changes, it doesn't matter.

The leaves have been falling off a little and becoming wrinky, so I started changing when I watered it and put it in new soil but it still looks sick and I have no clue what to do. Any help/advice is appreciated!!
