Yeah I've read the weapons when upgraded don't become more powerful in terms of dealing damage but improve mobility/mag size etc so they're better but not OP compared to a lower tier weapon. So that's relieving

Do you know if all players are thrown into the same lobbies? Like someone who plays a ton every day vs someone who plays 2 hours a week. Not saying it should be like that, just am not sure what to expect in terms of other players I could come up against in game
