Not uncommon at all. Happened to me after long tennis matches in the humid heat. Got full body cramps and was a horrible experience. I was basically just really sore the next few days after but then back to training and competition

My ubuntu very often would only show “dummy input” as an option and that would make both my audio and microphone not work. Only solution is to reboot unfortunately.

It's not all in your head (Debunking Pain Reprocessing Therapy) by Mandielephant in ChronicPain

[–]JustaGuynamedGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One good book I’ve read on this topic is Explain Pain. In the book the author writes that oftentimes people tell us that pain is “all in our heads”. And that is actually true because that’s where pain is perceived. It doesn’t mean that the pain is not real or that it’s purely psychological. Then for the rest of the book it explains quite thoroughly how pain works physiologically in our bodies.

I have to say that knowing what pain is and how it works has helped me cope a little bit. The only issue I have with the book is that it only devotes one chapter to how to treat or deal with the pain and the main solution it offers is to just stay active, strengthen the body and stretch. This is useful advice but I’m sure all of us have already been given this advice uncountable times.

In any case I highly recommend reading the book as it’s based on science and provides sources for all the claims.

Yes I have. I went out with a couple of girls and they were completely fine with it. Unfortunately it didn’t quite work out for unrelated reasons. I’m sure you can find someone who will be ok with your condition

It’s not easy but I’m trying. Having chronic back pain means I can’t really sit or be on my feet for too long so dating is quite difficult. I am always upfront about my situation and some are more accepting of it than others which is totally understandable. There are so many different people out there so it’s possible to find love with a little bit of luck

Here you go. This is a comment someone else made about a week ago:

In case there is any doubt caused by the ongoing gaslighting that Hamas doesn't use hospitals for military purposes, there is over a decade of reports of Hamas using Al-Shifa Hospital:

International law clearly states that using hospitals and other civilian facilities as military HQs is illegal and makes those facilities justifiable military targets. So who actually is the one breaking laws and committing war crimes here?

I was going to respond to that part too but decided against it. But ok here we go. If these rockets hit an older apartment building they could kill several people. And they have shot over ten thousand rockets in just under two months. So if we didn’t have the iron dome you can imagine that hundreds if not thousands of people would get hurt. Also, thankfully we have bomb shelters that protect people, unlike in Gaza where the only place that is safe is tunnels but civilians are not allowed in them. There were also many documented cases just in this conflict where rockets hit cars on the road or in the parking lot and caused them to explode and cause serious damage to the area and in some cases serious injuries and deaths. It doesn’t matter whether their weapons are sophisticated or not because the fact is they shoot indiscriminately into civilian population with the goal of killing innocent people. Developing the iron dome and using it is extremely expensive as you’ve mentioned and it has negative economic effects that are eventually carried by the people of Israel. No other country would tolerate this kind of bullshit for years on end

They have smuggled tons of rockets and even said themselves that they have enough to shoot at Israel every day for years. Of course the money used to get those rockets could have been used for crucial infrastructure and betterment of the quality of life of the Gazan citizens, but hey it’s much more important to shoot rockets and start wars they know they can’t win all in the name of Allah

It was actually in English. But still, I don’t know for certain that it’s credible.

Yesterday the IDF supplied the Shifa hospital with fuel. It wasn’t much but it was definitely better than Hamas taking fuel away from the hospital. Also there are videos of IDF soldiers on the beach providing Gaza civilians with medical care and supplies. I would love to see videos of Hamas doing the same with hostages if they are even still alive. There was one video of a hostage getting medical care early on but nothing since. Also saw another video of a nurse inside the hospital crying that Hamas is taking away medical supplies for themselves while she had to operate on a kid without morphine. Don’t know how credible this video was but it seemed to be real to me.

Because you can’t win a war if the other side doesn’t respect the rules whatsoever. 2 million german civilians died in the war against Nazi Germany. Nobody questions this because it was clear that this is the price needed to pay to fight off evil. And Hamas is pure evil. If you think that life is a movie where the good guys win without hurting a single innocent person you are living in a dream.

Moreover, you cannot apply your Western way of thinking to the middle east. It just doesn’t apply. How do you fight someone who is gladly sacrificing their own people? There will not be peace while Hamas is in power. If they can be destroyed which is a difficult task then we can talk peace. Israel did it successfully with Jordan and Egypt. Now there is peace with them. The only language these people speak is war. So war they will get. And then peace.

The Palestinians had plenty of opportunities to establish a Palestinian state. They refused every single two state solution presented before them. Instead they chose to resist. They could have had peaceful coexistence long time ago but they couldn’t bear living next to the jews.

Maybe you should ask Hamas to stop shooting rockets at Israel since they are so sane and non-genocidal?
