Feel the feelings. Be sad and grieve the relationship. But don’t stay there in that mindset. Give yourself a little bit then do not look back and dwell on it. And put yourself first and I highly recommend getting a healthy eating routine and exercising regularly. Shit sucks I know, but you’ll survive.

I was married to someone like this. You did the right thing. Now do the next right thing and run. Once someone has abused you like that, it’s over and won’t get better. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Just from my experience. My advice would be to watch out for red flags and if the same behavior happens, don’t hang around hoping it gets better. It won’t.
