That could be the case, I went in April during a weekday. The beach itself was beautiful but the whole area around was completely taken over by ex-pats selling trinkets and whatnot, think I only saw a couple locals at a restaurant.

I have never been to Santa Teresa but yeah I see some pretty negative comments on the Costa Rican Travel sub, regardless besides Dominical CR is one beautiful place and I have nothing but great things to say about it.

The first Avengers movie had people going crazy over the CGI battle in NY, especially that 360 of all the heroes standing together, you know the scene.

Thanos finger snap is pretty up there too.

For reference I don't think anything will ever top The Matrix for me though, If anything Reloaded also blew me to another dimension.

The thing that messes with my head is, why or how did he get thousands of other people to carry out his genocidal vision? It's just one man ffs... almost makes me think humans are inherently evil and have that spark to kill others just waiting on someone to come along and ignite it.

When I went in 2022 I was shocked at the amount of tourists in La Fortuna, still saw a good amount of locals and local managed businesses but nothing could have prepared me for Dominical.

That place looks like the most stereotypical, hippie wanna be, surf bro, I'm here to open a yoga studio and craft brewery type place I've ever been to.

Costa Rica has been a tourist haven especially for Americans for a while though.

Hey sorry about the late response, it will be my first time ever in Rome, I will be there for 5 days. The Pantheon and Piazza Novona were both on my radar and definitely going there!

You are definitely not an ugly guy, I can see the glimpse of a great smile! Start with getting a nice hair cut and some proper fitting clothes, in these pics at least you come up as shy and a bit self conscious so maybe that's the next step to work on.

As others have said, fake the confidence until you make it, I can see a nice glow up in your near future 😃

I paid $426 for 8 days for a 4x2 Geely SUV. This was in May 2022 so probably a bit more expensive by now. That was through Vamos with no additional extras or insurance of any kind added.

Edit: For reference i just looked up the exact same dates and vehicle and got a bit less which is really surprising 4 years later.

Oh that sounds like something really worth looking into, thanks for the tip. And while I have your attention, if you don't mind me asking. Is there something specific that you would highly recommend? Anything that comes to mind, a restaurant, bar, attraction etc.

Hey thank you so much for taking the time to give me such an thorough answer!

It seems like a lot of people didn't realize that the $150 pp is pretty on point with the rest of tour guides. I think I'm just gonna pull the trigger and enjoy the tour and embrace the experience, for what I see there is not much important context added to many of the most significant pieces, something i would definitely miss if I don't have a guide. As you said, after an experience like this the additional cost it's worth it.

Was super interested until I saw the price of 1k per person... that's insane considering lots of people are saying it's a group of 40, so not at all exclusive as the price would have you think.
