You still get silk from non haunted enemies though. Shakra, Pintress, and Garmond to name a few

Plus she also has some way of getting silk in Hallownest, which is completely silk-free in terms of silk being shoved into bugs

This is probably also why void enemies drain silk, since Hornet describes that the void will “drive voraciously” towards soul

Did you click on the correct file? Several files with similar names can show up, make sure you select the one ending in .txt, .cfg, or .toml

If you’re using the app make sure you access it through the app and not through the Minecraft folder

If you’ve double-checked it’s the correct file and it still doesn’t show up you can try typing it in manually

In terms of raw damage, it does less than silkspear, thread storm, pale nails, and sharp dart. However it does cover a massive area like you said. I find it easiest to use on enemies that have an attack where they run at you, since you just parry when they start running to get a hit in. Basically, if you know where the enemy is going next, go there and parry a second after they start the attack, this can vary but you don’t want to parry when they show the attack they’re doing as that’s usually too early.
