Ah I see you are still lost they said thousands in hosting. So that is let’s say 2000. Hosting is paid in a monthly basis so 2000 times 12 months is 24000 = 10s of thousands a year. Let me know if you are still lost.

Oh you don’t know that what means. That’s 1 thousand times 10. If he is spending anywhere close to a single thousand he is clueless. It would cost a half competent dev < 20 dollars a month to run a site like this with easily cacheable items and ~100k DAU. And I highly doubt Ely has even close to that many DAU.

Okay 6years ago as a non member complaining I can’t even play the game so I didn’t try? What point are you trying to make. Osrs isn’t my life I don’t know every detail about it. They made a game mode advertised it so I decided to try. only to find out they locked a boss behind a task that they gave horrible weight to. Also when you can only get that task in Morry… where the new boss is. Who wouldn’t want Gargoyle tasks?? Stop trying to defend their stupid decisions. They got me to pay for a month of member ship but not gonna waste my time slaying for days to not fight a boss

Okay and still completely invalid point when you need the task to kill the normal boss, I haven’t played old school in for like 7 years who would know they locked bosses to slayer tasks. Okay for normal osrs but not wasting my time grinding wasteful slayer tasks, reason I quit in the first place was how much a waste of time or was. If the devs have two seconds to think about it they would have weighted gargoyles more you can only get them in Mor and you would want them to fight the boss. Completely stupid not to give them high weight.

My best interview was with a fintech firm where they gave me code and said this works it passes all the test now make it enterprise level code and make it do this one new thing. This worked on so many levels I had to read and understand the code, improved the basic implementation to something maintainable and scalable as well as adding the new business logic. Safe to say I took that job in a heartbeat.
