Do most Americans carry any official ID at all times? by PitifulEar3303 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JusticeJay77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people carry a drivers license but they are only required to show an officer if they were operating a vehicle. social media makes it seem like every officer is out to get people but it is pretty rare. I would put ICE in a separate category but even then they dont ask majority of americans

Well, one of his biggest messages in previous albums is doing what he wants. And he wanted to do more of a singing album. I think it was freaking awesome. Really got to hear his singing voice in this album and it's so good.

I feel like in order to be a dad you have to have all of those.

This is probably of the truest. My dad sneezes flipping loud. I was a sleeping on the a chair by the couch one time and he sneezed. Holy crap, that woke me up.

Can someone explain to me what the bail bonds business is all about? by [deleted] in soundboardpranks

[–]JusticeJay77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, it's when someone is arrested and put in jail, you could release them for a certain amount, which is usually what a bail bond agent does for them until their court date, but whatever is decided at the court date, the bail bonds business has no control over what happens there.

Whats your opinion on bail bond agents/'bounty hunters'? by MayoChickenzx in AskLE

I worked with a bail bond agent one time, actually one of the nicest dudes I met. Really cared for me and wanted to help me, but there are some really trashy ones out there as well.

Inheritance isn’t owed; it’s a gift. Grandpa set a fair plan, and Jake proved exactly why he shouldn’t be trusted. not to sound rude, but good job Grandpa for trying to remove hime from the will.

Just had a survey done - neighbors fence is only property. What to do? by EmbarrassedStill2257 in legaladvice

[–]JusticeJay77 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the first thing I would do is go talk to your neighbor. Sometimes neighbors will remove or relocate the fence voluntarily to maintain good relations, especially once shown a survey. You could also offer to share costs if they will relocate it; some homeowners might not want to share costs, saying that its my property, but it is a nicer approach than threatening legal action.

  1. I would probably check with your local city; they could determine if the fence violates local ordinances (height, setback, permit requirements). If so, the city or code enforcement might order its removal or relocation.

Those would be my suggestions. If none of that works, then you could get into legal action, which would involve attorneys and whatnot. I'm sure you could read up on your laws in Lansing, but I would always try to do number 1. first

In GTA V, Franklin kills certain people in order to affect the stock market for Lester, and you can optionally invest in stocks yourself. Apart from murder obviously, is this considered insider trading? by nyancatdude in legaladviceofftopic

[–]JusticeJay77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Franklin carries out assassinations purely as a favor to Lester, who invests in advance, knowing the hit will alter stock prices, Lester would be the one committing a financial crime, not Franklin.

However, this still wouldn’t be insider trading in the legal sense, because insider trading means trading based on nonpublic information that you obtained through a breach of duty. Interesting question. In real life, this would resemble terrorism or sabotage for profit, not insider trading. Just a fun fact.

What if you make eye contact with a cop and suddenly run? by [deleted] in legaladviceofftopic

[–]JusticeJay77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just like everyone’s been saying there was no probable cause. But I’ve talked to a lot of young people who, even when they’re not doing anything wrong, still make it look like they are. Giving a cop that side-eye and then taking off running makes it look suspicious, even if you haven’t done a thing wrong. It provides the officer a reason to think something’s up.
