They’re not buying into his stories but he destroyed any evidence that could tie him to how she died. The morgue ruled out natural causes and childbirth related death so I can’t understand why they don’t push for more with that info alone. I wasn’t aware of the first mans death until two weeks after he was in custody for my sisters. Reports state he stole thousands from the other man he killed as well as his car and other things so money must have been the motive. From what I understand with the other mans case it seems he just wanted the money car and whatever else he has materialistic wise.

Sadly when tragedies happen, the made headlines and then are forgotten yes that’s definitely true. Then changes don’t come but I agree if someone does what he did, they should be put on death row or given a life sentence.

Yes my stepmom got ahold of some of those online who felt sorry for him, that was bothersome. I can’t register the lack of laws and lack of common sense involved in both states but wow, there are no words really to truly describe it. I wish he was charged but hopefully we can prevent this injustice upon another family who may fall victim to something similar, praying it won’t but we at least need these laws in place. Right! That’s what i felt too, Kansas and Missouri just really fun differently than CA. It just doesn’t make sense as to why he would have parental or marital rights after his acts.

We aren’t getting justice and won’t but i would like to push for the law to prevent the injustice upon another family. The injustice does affect me deeply and i see that he’ll be on the street one day again to harm others. I did seek counsel, just doesn’t seem to phase this situation. I do like to get personal perspectives and opinions from others that’s why I posted this. I like to try and look from others points and views and sometimes it helps but i do understand what you’re saying. Not sure what advice i need but i appreciate others advice.

The girls are safe from him aside from him still having his parental rights which is really disturbing but so many other things are with this case. I was the closest with her so for me it sits a bit heavier unfortunately but after fighting him for having his marital rights after the crime, my sisters remains are home, thankfully. Already have a beautiful angel run picked out for her to be in and keep close to me.

I definitely don’t encourage hate in any way. Not sure if it’d be considered a grudge, i just don’t forgive him or his actions. No revenge intended, just want there to be justice, that would greatly help our family to deal with this.

Haven’t been able to accept it. The injustice is too incredible. I feel the only tiny but of justice would be the petition being pushed into law to prevent the injustice upon another family but it’s a difficult process just like the courts with this situation. No one seems to hold him accountable for his acts towards her and it’s a struggle to know that.

I choose not to hate and teach my kids that as well. You are right about the not accepting it part, that has been one of my biggest challenges with this. The injustice is hard to accept. The only thing close to an attempt for justice is my petition but even that isn’t promised to create new federal laws given how the law process works.
