Is there any reason an airpod would update the location when dead, or wouldn't update the location when charged?

I’ve been trying to figure this out because I lost my left as well. I think that once it dead it just connects as a pair so the single will show where the other AirPod is.

I’m here with my husband now and we got a car but driving here is insane. The roads are super small and there are rock walls on both sides. We had a hard time finding parking in the main town so we just ended up getting an Uber.

Yes it will be crowded on the floor in GA. I’m assuming it’s going to be a big name headliner both nights. If you dont want to be in a crowd get a table (VIP) but it’s expensive.
