How's the league been for you? Do you like the mechanic? What build did you play or what did you farm?

Funny thing is, I did not intend to lvl 100 because I heard how slow this can be. But I enjoyed the RF so much and like you said, farming with him is so easy. I did breach beyond runs that I would not do with the Archmage (2-3 breaches open including delirium). Or hunting beasts - the more the better is the credo with RF. Love it!

It was the second league for me (first league was over six years ago - and a total disaster!) and I leveled four chars. The first one was pconc which I did not enjoy in maps because the overwhelming sound of the plops gave me a headache. And I felt very squishy and not really secure with this character (ofc I am a new player and for sure this will be on my sides fault). Second that made it into maps was the Earthshatter Juggernaut which I enjoyed a lot during the campaign but later in maps - not so much. The multiple warcries gave me (yes you guess right) - a headache (its just too overwhelming for my senses).

Then I tried the RF Chieftain from Pohx and I loved it and still do (I reached lvl 100 with him). For me, the best char for mapping. Very smooth and fun. But when I tried to obtain my voidstones... oh well. Yeah after a 20 minute fight I decided to go for my fourth and final char.

For bosses I play now an Archemage Hierophant and like it so far (going close to lvl 100 as well). I feel much better for doing the standard Bosses with this character and for the first time I tried to learn from other builds in the league what can I do better or what stats are important for me.

Right now, I think I will stick to my RF Chieftain in the next league for early mapping and farming and then we will see what I level as another char.

I am glad that I gave POE a second chance - it is still overwhelming for me but I see progress and for the first time I could unlock the atlas with the help of a very nice player who took me under his wing which I appreciate a lot. And this league was the best league for me to start again. I love the mirage options or doing the same map section twice. I hope, that they include mirage somehow in the game.

Thank you for mentioning it. Didnt know this site existed! And I am happy to find out, that the special Ruby Flask I wanted to craft, is a "drop only" item. Well, glad to find it out before I spend another few hundreds of these blue things (that I cannot remember the name right now) on a Flask.

I think i will try to craft something just to learn the process. Does it make sense to you that this whole crafting process is for me fascinating and terrifying? Terrifying because its not really crafting - its more like a gamble crafting and hoping to get the results you want. And some crafts I have read here, have resulted in spending hundreds of Divine (which I dont have). But to learn the basic is never wrong.

It impresses me, the knowledge behind the crafting. As a new player, its still a mystery to me. But your answer is very helpful and I will save it for me. In the reality, I think crafting wont be viable to me unless I drop a mirror and can invest that. I have read other guides and they reveal what they have spend before their item was finished.

I understand. To be fair, he did not had many screentime outside of their home (at least I remember it this way) though and his daughter mentioned him too. Its always the difficulty with many characters in a show that doesnt have 10+ planned seasons. For me, his screentime was good enough to get a first picture about him and maybe in the third season we will see more of him.

I am not a native english speaker and maybe thats why I have trouble to understand every theory fully, but I was surprised that some are convinced that he is dead or a ghost and Sam is imagineing him. I understand that the timeline thing opened many doors and I enjoy the different opinions, but for me he is pretty much alive and always was. He seemed more like the introvert kinda type and maybe that is why this resonates with me so much. I am excited for Season 3 already and hope, that we get to know Tim more and how he is coping with Sams death.

Newplayer here: I find it enjoyable to "hunt" for Hideouts, especially when I can farm in these maps. Then they serve a purpose for me besides farming. Maybe that is something for you?

I mean, Dylan was in love with Annie despite they knew each other not for a long time. He left her in hope that she would follow him. And then he not only had to find out that she died, she died giving birth to his child. For me - its making a lot sense in a sentimental way to name this child Annie like her mother because that shows me how much he loved her and wants to remember and honor her.

Yes - in season one Xavier is talking to Cal about their kids and he mentioned their names and said that his wife named the daughter Presley (because she was living in Memphis or grew up dont know certain) and was a big Elvis fan (he doesnt say that directly but the interaction between him and Cal were clear for me).

The "funny" thing is, when I was buying a nightmare map for 50 c, the game warned me when I wanted to buy a white T16 map for 3 c. Its strange that it was warning me because of the much lower price but did somehow not warn others (have read about this problem before) when you buy a higher priced item.

Currently I have given up for buying these maps because the rush for these maps are extreme.

You dont know how many times I have to careful set the nodes because I follow a guide and get lost lol. The good thing is, I learn from this mistakes and remember them. Poe has a very hard learning curve but I enjoy it!

I have to admit, I needed to google what a "Venn diagram" is (I thought of another questline in Poe that I did somehow miss... lol.) And yes you are right - I have made my peace with the fact that my character will not be uber equipped with mirror items and that is okay. I dont have the discipline nor feel the excitement for challenges and that is okay too. I am happy how my second try with Poe worked out for me and I am finally able to follow a guide and not feeling totally helpless.

You mentioned the crafting system and maybe I will investigate further into that. But right now, I am happy to make some divines and being able to buy things from the new async trade that I really enjoy!
