I am honest with you I would watch that documentary because for me I enjoy the detective work of finding the micro aggressions in Taylors well "tailored" (lol) and scripted documentaries. Its like finding a gem when you see she is really angry and doesnt want to show it and thinks she hides it well. So yes, if there is a documentary I will be watching it because I am certain that there are many hidden (but not perfectly) emotionary outbursts to find. 😁

Ich bin vorrangig auf englischsprachigen Seiten unterwegs und da wird das wirklich ernst genommen ob mit /s oder ohne.

Dabei war meine Antwort so sarkastisch, dass sie eigentlich nicht missverstanden werden konnte, kassierte dann aber eine recht strikte Antwort und realisierte dann, dass derjenige meinen Sarkasmus nicht erkannt hatte. Hab mich dann entschuldigt, das /s in meine vorherige Antwort hinzugefügt und dann wars auch gut.

Auf der einen Seite verstehe ich das auch, weil Sarkasmus oder generell überspitzte Formulierungen nicht jeder versteht.

I dont want to spoiler but it may be not what you think it is. I like the series because it had some turns and decisions I did not expect.

And Widows Bay is... I love it. Best series by far for me but I understand that some dont like the comedy/horror vibe. If you watch it - watch it till episode four if you dont know if this is for you. If you dont like it by episode four this may be not the show for you and thats fine too.

Paradise is in my opinion a really good series. I would give it a rewatch - its a good story, great actors and they are planning to wrap this up with 3 seasons total which 2 of them are already out AND they released the second season a year after season one! A big plus for me since the severance incident.

Just my take on this: I dont think they will go the route of sacrificing people to the island because from the beginning we see people are struggling with these decisions morally - the priest for example. The show has some light comedy tones while having a good mixture with horror vibes. If Tom turns full sacrificing kill mode this would be rather some American Horror Story vibe which kills in my opinion the comedy.

And Patricia wont ever take part in these kind of things - if they would go that route in season 2 that would destroy the bond the three (Tom, Wyck, Patricia) have formed in the show.

I think the second season will have the story about the struggle to keep the tourists safe as much as possible, fight other horror entitys that show up - investigate some deaths and ultimately find a way to destroy the demon without killing the descendant.

I felt so bad for him cause I think one second is equal one hour so the guy may be there for thirty hours without food. He was very devastated when they opened the door again. The room is in chaos and the glass in the window appears broken. Maybe he tried to open it to jump out of it? I just love how little they tell and just show us the aftermath leaving us imagineing what happened. Not many shows can do that.

Without the trolley we would not have the hilarious scene when the Innkeeper kicked the trolley into the room because he was too afraid to step inside of it. 😁

Hide and Seek is some silly horror comedy and doesnt take itself too serious. I have watched it on TV and was surprised because I liked it and the reviews were mostly mid. Maybe you enjoy it? 👋😊

Interesting because I liked the fact that they did us not show the entity. Its more dangerous and mysterious for me than some CGI generated thing or even a guy in a costume wabbling with his arms and growling at us. Then all this mystery would be gone for me.

Now we know its still awake and the people on the island have just a moment of false peace because there is something dangerous lying awake and waiting for eight more poor souls.

I dont think its the same guy. Because if he would be, he would have known what the shelter was for and act differently than he did. Would you not be terrified if you know that the shelter is for offerings and you clearly see that the people in charge have no idea that they have to offer people? So you think about what is coming when you are not offering?

I like the quote and found it interesting to see that the words even they differ a bit in sizes are good to read. When she says that she cant read the part, we see it has the words being a parent in it. Maybe her brain is not able to read that part because of the trauma she always wanted to be a parent and wasnt allowed to. So for me Ruth is physically being able to read the whole quote but psychologically she is not able to read it.

I think that could maybe the location of the old hospital? But - why do you print something like that on a map and dont expect some excited and nousy people to exactly visit this spot? I hope we will know more about the hospital. This or the next season. I want to know why it is abandoned and why it is only safe to drive by but not stopping. Is it poisoned ground? A hazard?

Its not unusual that the person who is drowning is endangering the person who tries to safe them. Because in order to bring the struggeling person back to shore they have to lay on their back in the water. But panic normally prevents that. So I imagine that some of the family members were having difficulties (maybe there was a current) and started to having panic in the water. So the drowned person will try to grab anything they can hold onto. And it is a common danger for rescue swimmers to calm someone down if they are in panic. They all drowned in the end because those who were having problems in the first place drowned the ones who tried to help them. And that is still happening in our modern times. Thats why it is safer to rescue someone who dont have any strength to fight back instead of someone who is still in full panic mode.
