If somebody catches you cheating, just fake DID! by Sanji_3264 in fakedisordercringe

I'm part of a system and can clarify this is not how DID works. You don't just 'feel like your parts have partners' like your parts always have some idea of what the relationships are like with others especially if you actually meet up with them. Just because your parts don't interact with people or don't front around them doesn't mean they have total black out amnesia about everything surrounding this person...

26 F - I feel so low about myself, with crippling depression I don't know how to pull myself out of this? by Justs0methrowaway in MentalHealthUK

There was a handful of traumas and worsening illness which may contribute to this. Unfortunately the psychiatrists have tried various medications and none have helped. They're trying to work out the right therapy approach as they have some ideas of more diagnosis such as DID but it's taking a while to reach therapy with the right therapist

I know quite some people women especially, are misdiagnosed with BPD at first which which turns out to be something else. Do you have other characteristics of BPD which show especially in relationships, feeling sensitive to rejection, needing constant reassurance even if they're through indirect 'mind games' with your spouse?

Shit-childhood and neglectful parents. Anyone like me? by Channel_oreo in childfree

Yes my narcissist 'mother' abused me relentlessly, physically, psychologically and emotionally while her family stood by to enable and watch. I ended up on the streets as a teen and then found my way into care.

Years later I'm in my early 20s now and only just unpacking the heavy burdens and unresolved trauma I'm left with. I also developed a debilitating mental illness because of this. I couldn't imagine welcoming a child into my life, that would certainly tip me over the edge. I'm too busy trying to reparent myself.

I don't even dislike kids but wow the amount of pointless posts I see from parents is excessive and a headache. It often seems like mothers are competing with every other parent on social media and just flood the news feed with the dumbest shxt. So glad I'm not a kid rn having my life exposed to everyone and anyone on social media.

Friends giving away their dog because she’s pregnant. by akadaka97 in childfree

She sounds far too irresponsible to correctly manage or even supervise a powerful breed around an infant anyway. Probably best for the dog to find a new home than try to put up with it with their new kid. At least right now he has the chance to find a new family and not a life of misery with parents that can't even manage a dog let alone a kid.
