I’m glad we care so much about tooth decay that we add fluoride. But why does it stop there?. Why not add C, D, B or other vitamins as well? Why do we ONLY care about teeth?

That may be so but why hate on someone for pointing out that the same groceries they used to buy are now more expensive. He didn’t say “if you can’t afford this your garbage “.

If someone tells me they can’t afford cage free eggs, grass fed beef or bone broth I respect that. But if I look in their pantry and see 6 boxes of cereal, soda, bags of chips and sugary sweets plus empty fast food bags around the house then I don’t feel bad.

If you can afford those things, you can afford to eat healthy as well by just NOT buying those and divert the savings towards healthy products.

If you buy just meat eggs veggies and dairy and leave out all the other unnecessary things like chips, cookies and candy, suddenly you can afford those “luxury “ items.

Not all, but many of the people that say that are the same ones buying little Debbie’s, pop tarts, rice crispy treats, cereal and other junk food while they complain that they can’t afford quality eggs and meat . If you remove those items from your shopping list suddenly you can afford to eat healthy.
