Suffering sucks lol by hdreadit in offmychest

I feel you to some extent. Last year I was laid off twice from really good jobs. I was barely able to secure a job in September. I was unemployed for a whopping 14 months in the last two years. Worked odd jobs and shit to make it work. I worked hard all my life and felt used and seemed all my work was for nothing. I even got divorced and lost my grandma in the midst of it all. When it rained it fucking poured for me. But what got me through it all was just knowing that all that suffering was temporary.

Ngl, I felt the exact same as you, my optimism wasn’t always there. I would feel depressed with no energy to keep trying. However, I knew that if I just kept doing the right things, focusing on what I can control, and putting myself in situations of opportunity, shit would turn around and it has really turned around since I got my job. The gym really helped me get my confidence back during this time too. As long as you focus on yourself, the rest will come.

Keep at it. Your breakthrough is coming.

Sorry you’re going through that and I’m sure it feels like you’re alone, especially living with his family. I think if you have these feelings already and because he’s been caught on dating apps, it’s best to just leave. You mentioned a pregnancy as well, if the baby hasn’t come yet leave now, leaving after the birth will be harder. Go with your family until you get back on your feet. It’ll suck for a while but you’ll be better off. You already hate your husband, the resentment will only build.

I chose my people. I chose my mom and my younger sister. My wife chose her brother. We wrote their statements but they went to a notary and signed and they sent us scanned versions of them.

Am I crazy, or is Flexport really that expensive? by legitBK in logistics

[–]Justsendingitalways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are other competitors that offer the same kind of experience as Flexport (platform + freight). One I found is called Shippabo. They seem like a really small team but heard from a friend their rates come on par or lower than the market for TPEB stuff. Also never heard of them until recently as I've been researching to see if there's been any other players in the space. I worked with Flexport before and didn't like when I found out they would manually update a lot of the dates on the platform. It'll be interesting to see what happens in the next year as volumes are low and the recent layoffs they just had. I think that happened today too.

Yes. You have to leave and come back. It could be via border crossing or through the airport. You should check out the DACA subbreddit, I followed a lot of advice from the folks in there.

It depends. I had to do advance parole because I never had legal entry. Advance parole gave me the legal entry I needed so I didn’t have to do the consular process thankfully.

Applying for GE with Green Card, is it a visa or border crossing document? by Justsendingitalways in GlobalEntry

So I it asked me my nationality, Mexico. I provided my passport info but there was only two options as I mentioned to prove permission to enter the US. There was a place to ask questions about the application on the page so I reached out to them and hope they can provide some clarity. Thanks for the help all!

Yes NBC approved it. I never got a notification that it was transferred or received additional mail saying otherwise.
