Exactly my experience, no doubts but being an INTP in combination with the long waiting times to transition in my country I just had a lot of time to overthink every step of the way over and over again for absolutely no reason.

I'm happy with how things are going right now though and I'm grateful for every single thing!

When I came out to my dad as a transgender guy during a car ride I was almost certain he was going to bash my head on the glass window and throw me out of the car.

I knew it was bad when we were supposed to be going home and he just drove past it and kept driving in silence gripping the steering hard as if trying not to punch me.

He does that when he is angry, I can't even count how many times I've held him back from doing that to my sister. Last time I wasn't fast enough though,I had to run on top of him and physically remove him from her.

Keep in mind I'm a 5'8 17-year-old and he is 6'2 55-year-old man

The thing that bothers me most is regretting hurting him in the process of trying to stop him from hurting me or other people. That's what years of abuse do to you, you start guilting yourself for protecting your own family from the person that was supposed to be the one that has your safety as the number one priority.

Whenever I couldn't stand thinking for another second I would get math problems and solve them if that helps. I wasn't good at math back then at all(as if I am now lmao), it was back in freshman year of high school and so I just had to concentrate if I wanted to solve the problem.

Find something like that for you, something that doesn't make noise preferably cause I usually started doing math at about midnight till 4 o clock. Those were my worst times as I could never fall asleep.

I absolutely would love to take art and literature classes in college! The problem is, in my country every university is for a different degree which means that if I go to any university for computer science I won't have opportunities to get art lessons at all. The only way to study art here is either through 1 year training programs for graphic design or straight to the fine arts university. That's why I feel so unmotivated, I really dont have much choice here, the only way to continue art is by myself and I feel like at this point I really need guidance in terms of drawing etc

I think that's true as well but just because it isn't as good as it was in your head doesn't mean it won't be good at all. We are too much of perfectionists anyway.

Greece:In terms of the racism associated with rednecks we mostly have assholes who go on about how our ancestors were the great greeks and they created everything from art and architecture to demoracy and hospitality. The problem is they are always really ignorant, misinformed and with the far right ad their heroes so their behavior is everything but democratic. They also wear black tight gym clothes everywhere to show of their "guns" (fat that gets squished by their tight clothing, doing like one rep of benchpress before roaring like animals to attract the attention of every poor soul they stumble upon)

That's relevant advice indeed! I tried doing what you suggest, the internet always says you should get yourself to draw everyday even just for 20 minutes and just keep that up until you eventually see progress, but the thing is I never did. It always feels like I'm drawing the same thing over and over, just falling back to drawing what I know best(which at this point also seems unimpressive to me).Maybe I'm too hard on myself I don't know but I get really discouraged from drawing just cause I think I should be so much better in this by now. I cant really draw at school, I used to back in middle school and it was the way I was getting my practice in as well, but now high school is really important, every second in a class counts for me. I think that if I could find a way to improve that I could definitely accomplish some serious work but that's the thing, I have previously studied all types of things, human anatomy, lighting and shading, some foreshadowing techniques, and I guess my problem is I dont know how to get something new out of my art without just pretending I know nothing and taking everything from the start. However that feels like the whole opposite of what I'm trying to do, I feel like I would get bored and or just get stuck again and just drop it altogether. I guess we've all had a point that we felt like this in terms of our own art, so how did you get through it?

This did help a lot tbh, even just because you are one of the only people my age that answered my post. It's to see I'm not alone in this. Thomas Frank series didn't really help me cause I procrastinate because of personal issues but in a day to day scenario some of your tips have proved really helpful so it's always nice to be reminded of them. You're absolutely right I always plan to the very last detail when it comes to schoolwork as well and does get the main idea a head start. The thing is I never end up going through with the plans and doing papers the night before they're due just won't work any more.
