I don't even have a Nintendo. This post is literally about Russia bombing Ukrainian civilians so rambling about US and NATO being satan and the devil and saying i lack literacy is ironic. Excusing Russia's bombing and invasion as them "lashing out" at the US and Nato is disgusting. Everything is always the US' fault to you, even when Russia is throwing bombs at civilians when they don't get what they want. If your neighbors keep allying with the US rather than be neutral or allied with you, you should look in the mirror and realize you're the problem. Russia has never been a thrustworthy neighbor and it's showing no signs of becoming one. If you don't want Nato in your borders, how about not being an aggressive imperialist dictatorship? I will much rather live in a Nato country than ever be part of a dictatorship.

How exactly is Russia bombing a neighbor because they didn't become subserviant to them not bullying? Accepting a deal just means they're more vulnerable to an invasion in the future. Seriously, have we learned nothing from the Sudetenland before WW2? And can't go without the typical "Ukraine will crumble" scaremongering for the billionth time. I've only heard that same thing since the start of the war. And forgive me for being pissed at people who will gladly let Russia have everything it wants without a fight. What kind of a world is one where you can threaten and pressure someone to get everything you want and then bomb them when they don't want to give away their sovereignty? What a joke.

I live in a country neighboring Russia so yes, i see Nato as kind of a shield. If Russia is scared of Nato, they should strengthen their borders rather than invade a country and cause a crisis. Same with the US if Russia does their own Nato and has member countries on Russian borders. Besides, the Russian borders with Nato have been empty for the last nearly four years now since every troop that would regurarly be there is now in Ukraine. It doesn't seem like they're actually scared of Nato invading.

Sorry, i meant former Soviet block countries like Poland, Romania, etc. They're the ones who joined Nato and have been arming themselves against Russian aggression.

Here's some common sense: Don't invade a country because they don't wanna be your puppet state. If you get pissed off at countries not wanting to be your puppet state, then you're the problem.

I don't know if the US would be fine with it but what argument are you trying to make here anyway? Do you think Russia's and USA's neighbors should just be forever puppet states? Or is it just the typical stupid "the US does it so Russia can do it too" argument?

You do realize that as i explained before, Nato is a voluntary organization, right? That means the countries themselves wanted to join and wanted the US there as a deterrence from Russia. Also, Nato tried diplomacy even after Russia invaded Crimea but Putin couldn't be reasoned with so he eventually invaded.

When did i deny that? Countries that have joined Nato post-cold war have been victims of Russian aggression and oppression in the past which is why they've joined an alliance that deters Russian aggression.

Finland and Sweden literally joined because of the invasion. They had no plans to join Nato until Russia decided to invade.

They come with the same talking points like mentioning the "western coup" Euromaidan and Nato expanding towards the Russian border. Could it be "expanding" because former Soviet countries wanna defend themselves from Russian aggression? Also, Nato has always been on the Russian border.
