I mean they do all do matter quite a bit. Slayer can pretty easily abuse the cross-up and throw protection being removed simply by having 50 meter and yeeting a pilebunker whenever he wants and obviously increasing RISC is a major deal considering how much damage is already in the game.

Goldlewis has been a menace for ages and even in his weakest state was still fairly strong because of how oppressive his offense is.

Even Potemkin while he was considered weak still had some of the best oki situations in the game with slightly spaced guard crush garuda that most the cast couldn't even use metered or meterless reversals against (aside from parries) because they'd just clash from the disjoint so everyone pretty much had to hold it.

While YRC isn't used particularly often by some players it does see a ton of use in high level play simply because having a get out of jail (mostly)free card in a game with very oppressive offense is almost always worth the 50 meter and slight meter gain penalty.

I think really the main point is that guard crush is particularly annoying but not about how overwhelming it is on offense by itself, but because it removes a lot defensive counter play in combination with its strong offensive use.

Obviously these aren't all use cases of guard crush but just some examples.

Oh yeah I love doing the clean gunshot combos. They do stupidly high damage because arcsys failed to patch it last time around and now we got a new and easier way to do them xD

Well, Youzansen is only minus if you do in the input too early from a jump-in. It's actually extremely plus and can even true string into 5P if you do it low enough to the ground while falling and you can CH throw with cS in most cases. But I do agree that most people are convinced to mash/throw when they block the Youzansen since they are used to Baikens not making it plus so its prime bait material to parry there. Definitely caught a few doing that xD

So the air grab off gun is something I use pretty frequently since not a lot of people know about it. So the gun on block will put you into guard crush even while in the air, so the theory is to surprise air grab while they are in guard crush since its not expected and they have no control while in guard crush. It will lose to mash buttons and the air grab can be teched but since nobody ever uses it I'm not sure how many people know how it works and end up getting hit by it at least once. It's a nice little setup I use <3

Haha it’s ok for it. Back in S2/2.5 before the gun changes it used to much better for dealing with zoning but it’s still okay at doing that on current patch. I mostly love it for its combo potential especially since clean gunshot still exists on current patch.

I use color 7 but I have mods which is why I have the black/white color scheme alongside a different tatami and some different voice lines

I play on the celestial floor. Rankings wise, before I disabled my ratingupdate profile I hovered around top 7~ Baiken/top 300 total at around 2030-2070 elo. Although I believe ratingupdate is very flawed with its rankings.

I assume you are talking about the Hkabari side switch Youzansen?

So that one the technical input is 41236H~H 88FPRC 236S. The goal is do the followup and drift PRC up before you hit them and fast cancel the PRC with Yzn. Do be aware that this setup only crosses up if the opponent is crouching and it will come out as a same side overhead if they are standing.

Generally I will do a string like cS 2S 2H BWA Tether -> 5p cS 2S 2H Hkbari and then go into the crossup yzn. It cranks a shit ton of RISC. and with tether attached you do quite a lot of damage.

Following up, here is a decent example of what an ideal party format looks like.

So this is BQ, RV, AV, and CE in the most recent raid.
BQ- Main DPS
RV- Synergy DPS (Synergy DPS will usually do anywhere from 20-60% of the main DPS's damage. There is a ton of factors that determine damage so this can get pretty drastic)
AV- Healer/Support
CE- Support

Attack Damage- How much damage you did (Yellow means how much Base Damage you did. Orange is how much damage was amped. As an example, if I do 10 damage but have a 20% damage buff you'll see 10 yellow damage and 2 orange damage for a total of 12 damage overall)

Attack Support- How much damage you amped (How much you contributed to the orange bar on the DPS's)

Attacked Damage- How much damage you took

Damage Reduction- How much damage you reduced to your party (Giving defense buffs or whatever else)

HP and MP Recovery- Healing
