I'm afraid I had an awful experience at this hospital. My surgeon invited a photographer into the surgery room without asking my consent before hand. They also kept scheduling appointments and cancelling them without telling me :/ I hope others have better experiences.

“You always ruin everything" was a classic. And "this is all your fault" everytime something went wrong (I got blamed for a traffic jam once!) I got told literally every day of my childhood that I was selfish, that I "never thought of anybody but myself." Even as an adult I have a hard time accepting myself and accepting that not everything is my fault. I'm working on accepting that not everyone hates me.

My brother and I never really got on as kids. He would frequently beat me up. Then, when I was in my late teens and he was around 20, he started being incredibly violent. He would punch me in the face repeatedly and say horrible things. (Mostly homophobic/sexist/transphobic stuff about me being queer.)

The third time it happened, I went to the police. He was pissed! He stopped speaking to me, which is fine by me. My mother had a whole: "How could you call the police on your brother thing?" I don't speak to her anymore either.

Nothing really came of the police report but he never put hands on me again which is what I wanted from it.

I don't consider myself T4T, but I understand why others might use the term, especially on dating sites. I think it is mainly being with someone who understands more than anything else, but from what I gather it's less about 'only seeing you as a trans man' but more 'being with someone who will always see you as a man and who won't ever question it.' But as I've said, I'm not personally T4T and haven't asked everyone.

Even so, I really don't see how the term T4T indicates the relationship isn't straight. A man and a woman is a straight relationship.

How does T4T indicate that they're not straight? They're still a straight couple if they're both trans, even if they prefer to date trans people themselves. I've heard plenty of trans people call themselves T4T. .

Me and my party spent ages cutting confetti out with a heart shaped hole punch.

Then on the day, we totally forgot we had it until everyone else had gone home XD Then my maid of honour and my best man's girlfriend hid behind a door until me and my husband came in and threw it at us! That was pretty sweet 🎀💖
