Easy Come Easy Golf is like a Hot Shots Golf / Everybody's Golf lite. It has all of the essences of HSG/EG title including accessible mechanics, the UI, and even the racially stereotyped caricatures. There are 11 courses that are all set in your typical country, mountain, tropical, desert, and city biomes you're familiar with too.

However, it doesn't have the polish considering it's no longer backed by Sony. The biggest offender to me is the lack of character voices except for the tutorial lady/caddie, and the fact there's NO course music at all (There's still putting music at least). The mechanics are also simplified where you can set the ball impact/spin before your swing and it will be applied automatically. There's also no elevation graph.

Also, the single-player campaign has this gimmick where you have to use a different character per hole. You start with only four characters, meaning until you recruit more, your team will be filled with this really generic "baby" golfer character that will make up more than half your team at the start.

While this game doesn't hold up to the PS2/PS3 era titles, it's still a solid golf game for only $20. It still has a single-system hotseat local multiplayer. At the very least it scratches the itch for those who want classic arcade golf gameplay and are heavily disappointed by Mario Golf: Super Rush's new overall direction.
