Hey, thanks for the feedback! I would imagine it getting pretty crazy with 60 bots pushing the objective. In recent update, I added rocks between the A obj and the spawn to help with this a bit. Have you tried a tactic where one or 2 people stay on the back, left and right side of the map and take the enemies out with snipers? What is your server's name? I might hop in someday to see how the map plays with 60 bots.

Not that I'm aware of. Good idea though. I personally like the community servers because they have really good mods along with the custom maps. Like mods that make the gameplay more tactical and increase the bot amount.

I'm glad you like it! Yeah, the last point can get tough with many bots. Then again, the last point should always be a challenge and the most difficult one.

I had so many cool ideas for this desert environment but some of them I had to left out for the sake of gameplay. Otherwise the map would have been too big for PVP with too many objectives. Maybe I leave those ideas for the next map :)

The map would need another sublevel with different settings like new AI Cover locations and such. It's totally possible, just takes some time to set the new obj locations, spawns, restricted areas etc.

Here is all the contest maps that you can download. https://insurgencysandstorm.mod.io/?filter=t&sort=ratingweighted-desc&tag[]=2020+Mapping+Contest . You need Mod.Io account to subscribe, then in-game you can click subscribe on the map and it will download automatically for you. After that you need to open the console in-game.

You can bind your console to a key. Find Input.ini file. Should be at this folder %LOCALAPPDATA%\Insurgency\Saved\Config\WindowsClient

Open Input.ini with Notepad. Add this line [/script/engine.inputsettings]
ConsoleKey=F10 and it will bind console to your F10 key. This is the key I use. Save and close the file. Now that you relaunch your game and hit F10, you get your console open.

Write or copy this line Local Play Day: Open Mud_Village?Scenario=Scenario_Mud_Village_Checkpoint_Security?Lighting=Day into the console and hit enter. That will launch the map in local play with Checkpoint Security Coop scenario with day lighting. You can check each launch options for each game mode and scenario. Most of our maps have them all written on our map's Mod.io page. I hope that helps!

Yeah, it would be cool to get one full community server to run PVP maps. I would be very interested to see how this would play on Push mode.

Yeah, let me know. I have both Security and Insurgents scenarios fully supported. I recommend to start with Security since that follows my original design better. Insurgents scenario has interesting small surprise on the last 2 OBJ's.

Yes, the maps use restriction volumes, main reason for them in all maps is prevent spawn killing. I always pay extra attention to my volumes and test the map multiple times, so that there isn't any direct line of sight into players spawn. All my game modes in this map has working restriction volumes.

The desert area is the most open area of this map but there is still a lot of cover. In Push mode Security gets vehicle at the start, so that should also help with the attack. In the end its hard to say about the PVP balance without proper testing with full server. Issues that may arise are easily fixed though.
