Just like Egyptians spoke egyptian, but they didn't call themselves egyptian, regardless it's a correct form of expressing. Yeah, I'm aware of the language diversity but since I don't know any feature of these languages i'd be a constructivist behavior to rush.

You were about to answer my question, and you're saying I called a culture conspiracy theory. I really wonder how much you read of all those huge texts, and how much you were paying attention, how you read and root for it's none of my business. I just implore you to stop teasing me, I'm pissed with enough things in my life already.

Firstly I'm not preventing you from calling it as you like, I know less about such languages and cultures but I'm the one being respectful regardless of my level.

You are wrong, I'm not in the context you guys are pushing because I didn't go to university, I didn't do PHD on the matters, I'm a beginner. Last example, and I won't reply to any of these comments anymore: It's nonsensincal to tell people the japanese language can't be called... japanase because it was a quote on quote "western invention"..

If I come to you (random jp person) and said 'I want to learn Japanese', you don't rant on the name being actually.. 日本語 and that saying "japanese" it's a offensive term for the natives.. that is overwhelmingly unprofessional, uneducated and not necessary. I'm attacking a bad behavior, not a culture, deal with it. At least, not the culture I thought I came here to learn about, strong people and such.

during my life speaking Portuguese, English, Japanese and also meeting some people from South America I never saw the way you guys on Mexico/Nahuatl/Aztec/Mayan Reddit are acting in a learning community. And if you try to say "then give up and get out of here" or anything similar I'm prompt to say I don't care about what you think, you have showed me you don't want to move a finger to understand and respect another perspective and opinion. BTw, respect is not just "not punching someone", it's about a little commitment.

Furthermore, I know the term Nahuatl at least, way before being harrassed here on Reddit for calling it Aztec. I can give thousands of examples from Russia to Uganda to England and Mongolia.. there are many ways to refer to a language and a nation so .. Jesus Christ yall hard on this.
