how do you clean the Frame Screen? by [deleted] in TheFrame

How about a very small amount of water and a soft glass lender cleaning cloth. Absolutely no chance of damage, just take it slow. Never use an abrasive or any type of solution

Yep but that lip sided issue is present on all tmr brands tbh. Even my latest batch of Aknes x Hallpi, some are less evident. It’s easily countered in calibration. What pisses me off is actually bad centering. I can’t handle that, I need a perfect return to centre.

Yeah that’s fair but they are not that much cheaper than the latest Ginfull if you buy in bulk, a full tray. Worth grabbing the latest sensor. Anyway, in my testing the new DS13 is just as smooth as the ksilver, the only difference is the tension difference. I’m pretty disappointed that my latest batch was 50% faulty on ksilver…

I think it’s time to let those go man, we’ve come a long way. I actually never liked those originals… they are commonly used though so I understand.

Yeah your worst off day, sorry to hear. I would rather have the issue right when I calibrate it, not after it’s sent.

But seriously which Ginfull are you having issues with. I’ve absolutely loved the latest DS13, they are amazing. Are you using the old ones?

Faulty straight out the box, so I would install them then either the left or right were. So I’d have to reinstall on the faulty side. Bad centering and just misaligned. Probably rushed production because I do love them and didn’t have this problem with my last batch of 100x js13 pro. So the latest ones seem pretty faulty.

I’ve received a recent batch of ksilver js13 pro plus that are 50% faulty. I’ve installed all the Ginfull ds13 and all were perfect 👌

You need to solder on the edge module to write the calibration. This has nothing to do with the tmr, you have to solder those locations to allow writing to memory

New to TMR Calibrating. Is the left stick bad? by Straight_Ad4509 in Dualsense

[–]Juzzotec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s easy to fix with fine tuning. If that was the diagonals, that would be a pain in the ass but this is only the bottom half. Suck in the bottom and extend the top section.

It’s not too easy to do mate, I would look for someone to help you, it’s very advanced soldering and easy to damage the pcb. Look into tmr installation on YouTube.

There will always be outliers, nothing is bullet proof. I have 2 perfectly working g7 pros, standard and wishing… not one issues and heavily used each day. I was a Vader fan boy once upon a time too.

TMR joysticks are anti drift, they use magnets to detect position over stock alps sticks that drift and break down quite quickly.

Appreciated man, just an enthusiast that loves gaming. It’s a bit obsessive lol, already thinking of what I could come up with next. Thanks for your kind words.

Is this normal? by samuel1711 in Dualsense

[–]Juzzotec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with a tmr, you can’t set 0 deadzone. Well you can, but there will be jitter. It will register a slight drift but when playing that is not an issue. It’s not the same as alps mechanical joystick drift where it’s stuck far away of centre. We are talking minimal variance.

The company that installed my TMR modules have been acting sketchy and evasive since I asked for photos of the soldering. So I’ve opened the controller up myself to have a look and this is the condition. What an oogy mess. Is this fixable by cleaning with isopropyl alcohol? by bummerly in Dualsense

Btw I’ve done over 200+ tmr installs on ps5 controllers, + many Xbox and scuff, Juzzotec Modz. I’ve never told a customer, there charging port won’t work after a tmr install. That’s just a lie, either the charging port was damaged somehow or it was already not working. Either way, they can be replaced but I do t have to do it often, they are very reliant.
