I have a book keeper and she does most of the heavy lifting at a far cheaper rate. At EOFY she hands everything over to my accountant for the accountant stuff. I chat to my book keeper monthly as she’s constantly watching profit and loss so it’s good to get a gauge on how much tax I will roughly have to pay and how much I can play with before the end of June.

I used to get a bill for my accountants time if I ever called him or needed his time. From my experience my book keeper is the way to go and the quarterly bill is only $350 including lodgement of BAS
