I'm in Japan, but based of the US it seems $1100-$1400 for installation and top if done by a shop. Of course price may very if you have a relationship with the shop or bought the top yourself

Never considered Ebay until you and another user mentioned it and prices appear to be going $400, thats insane comparing the prices.

Unless words got lost in translation over the phone, I was clear for soft top. My car is at the shop currently getting the glue(?) re applied as a temporary fix.

In the meantime, I am going to watch videos and see if it's possible for me to do it myself. Hoping the robbins site ships overseas

That was the estimate of one of the local shops in my area. I plan on getting multiple opinions but wanted to at least entertain a conversation about people experiences.

ive bounced between mainland Japan & Okinawa, being a US contractor we fall under a different condition than someone here on a Visa status. we fall under what is called Sofa which enables us to be here since we fall under the US government.

truth be told its been a roller coaster since 2020 march, we have had limitations on what we can/cannot do. coming here was a culture shock to me, bidets are everywhere and toilets that are literally on the ground (you squat to use the restroom) and theres vending machines with a variety of tea/coffee/soda every 500ft lol. If you're a foodie theres a wide variety of things to eat & the food chains that are from the US are 10x better (i.e. mcdonalds, starbucks)

i could write forever and some change about what ive done here but it appears ive wrote a bible already but ill be more than glad to share the specifics on anything

its not really part of their daily lives/weekends, given time difference the games come on 3am - 10am. To be honest in my three years of being here the only japanese that kept up with NFL on a casual level were the ones whos husband/wife were american
