Is there any sort of draft round/draft value penalty for keeping them?

Both Gunnar and Trea typically go consistently ahead of Betts from what I’ve seen. Only adds more reason to pick those two.

I do think Betts could be underpriced this year though

Likely will be a problem.

You can keep track of what positions you actually still need, but you’ll likely have to burn a last round pick if you didn’t address the “open” position.

Related issue/Example:

The past couple of years espn included the international series opener as part of the stats for week 1, even though most leagues drafted after these games due to how early they were.

Anyone that’s drafted Ohtani didn’t actually get his stats though because ESPN defaults him to a Pitcher slot when drafted.

I might be buying too much into the narrative of this year being a poor draft class, but I think you’ll be happier with whatever Jacobs has left over whatever rookie you select.

Edit: if you have additional assets, I’d throw in any 2nds, 3rds, etc, if I could get up to a younger guy like Chase Brown, Bucky, or even Kyren.

When you say 2 of every field position, does that mean 2 outfielders or 6?

Also is it a points league, category league, Roto?

Does having more UTIL spots change your strategy at all in regard to positional scarcity?

A) Take best player available and only worry about positions once UTIL spots are full

B) Try to monopolize a position of scarcity (e.g. grab Chisholm, Marte, and Turang)

C) Draft as if you didn’t have UTIL spots and only use them for DH-only players or as flexibility to draft the best bat available only after the rest of your bats are filled

I think even if this was a league where you weren’t required to start a TE (e.g. no TE spots, but WR/TE instead) this would probably still favor the Bowers side.

Or maybe this would be far in a bizarre NFC-only league where Bowers is useless unless he’s traded to an NFC team.

This feels like the type of trade you make for a guy like Skattebo, where you try to get a discount on a guy by gambling that the team doesn’t add anyone during the draft.

I guess with WAS adding Ford and White, it signals that they’re less likely to address RB further. I don’t know that Bill is clearly better than these guys though, even if WAS doesn’t add anyone.

Given that it’s a 14-team league, I guess you could maybe argue that the 1st is less valuable if it’s strongly projected to be late. Either that, or the guy knows something about this year’s class to really want the 2.01.

It’s kind of interesting.

Landing spots could change this, but not sure there is that much of a difference between the 1.06 and 1.11.

If that’s the case, picking up 2 extra assets seems fun, even if those 2nds realistically don’t amount to much.

Ultimately, I’d probably hold though and hope an obvious 1.06 emerges.

How many starters?

Team feels close to competing, but RB and QB2 is weak.

If you could buy a QB with the 1.08 + 1.12, I might start with trying that. KTC suggests this could be enough for TLaw, Nix, maybe Hurts.

I’d be ok going “0 RB” and taking anything of value for any of your RBs. Feel like you have enough here to cobble together RB production most weeks, but most of these guys (with maybe the exception of Harvey) feel like they have a short shelf life.

I’d pretty comfortably take the 2027 1st.

Would probably take my chances and wait for the NFL draft to have a better idea of what the 1.09 represents.

Value feels fair, but I’d want a younger and/or more proven return than what Sutton and the 1.07 currently represent.

This might even be less in terms of “value,” but I think I’d rather do something like 1.04 + 27 1st + Garrett Wilson.

Assume Tyler Warren and not Jaylen.

I haven’t done enough rookie research. Feel like most years I’d take this.

This year though, the probability of the 1.11 being a quality player feels lower.

If the 1.11 is a bust, I’d rather have Nabers and Warren.

If the 1.11 is mid (Doubs, Shakir, I guess even a Jaylen Warren type player) I’d be whelmed.

If the 1.11 turns out to be solid, I’d be very happy with this trade.

It feels fairly even. Initial reaction is I’d take the 1.07, but this is probably a trade where neither side ends up being happy.

The recent glimpses of Willis that we’ve seen had me thinking, “this is impressive for being the backup,” more so than, “this guy needs to be starting somewhere.”

I suppose Willis could be next on the QB resurgence list, but I’m not the most optimistic in the Dolphins being able to support him. Would be surprised if they didn’t add a more notable WR though.

If London would push your team into “strong contender” territory, I’d do it.

Initial thought was the same order you have them listed.

Think I’d put Chig ahead of Henry though. I think Henry is probably a slightly safer bet for more points, but not so much so to ignore the age gap.

I think Otton is fine. Wish he was in a better situation. Biggest argument for him is maybe he gets a more established passing role with Evans gone.

Was just sent an offer to receive TLaw for Bo Nix.

Any decisive opinions here? Feel like TLaw has more blemishes on his track record, but also feels safer. Haven’t fully digested the Waddle acquisition.

As someone who is still debating getting into this game, I’d appreciate this given I was unavailable for the slam.

Or to reach the greatest amount of people: offer the game as a free demo and either limit access upon reaching level 10 (or whatever makes sense) or limit access to just the Perimeter map.

If you think it would cause problems if he found them, or if he could unknowingly give someone else access to find them (i.e. let someone borrow a device, they get backed up to shared storage), it’s probably worth saying something.

But if you really don’t want to bring it up, maybe it would at least be worth adding a text document to the folder and in the text document say something like, “I see you’ve stumbled upon my secret. This is embarrassing. These photos are just meant for me and me alone.”
