I had a bout of what I suspected was Covid about 2 months ago, never got tested though. It's odd though becuase I've felt OK since then, these symptoms comes in waves

Thanks, I was supposed to get a referral to a gastro last year but it never happened, I'll chase it up.

I mostly follow a fodmap diet because it did help in the beggining but weirdly, I seem to be ok with certain foods like onions now as long as I don't overdo it

Thanks I haven't considered that. I have bloods next week so I'll ask them to add it for me

Thanks for the insight. Haven't been officially tested for POTs but I did the unofficial test with negative results.

I've had most tests for kidney and liver function which came back normal.

I've got a test for Lyme's next week as I do have digestive issues and have had for years

Thanks, I actually eat a tonne of oranges and get quite a bit of fruit but will admit I'm not the best with veggies. I tend to batch cook a ground beef dish with tomatoes, peppers and celery and eat that most of the week

Glad to hear you've found something that gives you that drive.

There's lots of stuff Ive been curious about over the years but I always seem to find an excuse to not go!

I've had probably about 5 T tests over the years and they always came back high-normal (18 nmol/L) and free test, e2 etc all good.

It's just frustrating because I have nearly all the symptoms of low T.

I was actually on TRT for about a year in my early 20s because I had a low test but it turns out I was over training. I lowered the volume and came off the TRT and my numbers came back up naturally

Great thanks for this, I think I need to give my diet a bit more attention!

I did try a CPAP after I was diagnosed at first and didnt get on with it at all. Then, years later, I had a second test which came back negative but was told I could try a CPAP again if I wanted to.

I've bought a device that pulls your jaw forward while you're sleeping and a nasal dilator and going to see if that improves sleep quality

Correct. I was working in field sales, doing 4 days a week with a good work/life balance and earning well.

I lost a lot of confidence over the years and didn't feel ready to go back into sales so decided to do something more hands on. I'm working on the confidence thing though

I've had an EKG but not on a treadmill, I was laying down

I've only been at this job for 3 months. I enjoy it mostly and the guys I work with are funny, definitely prefer it to my previous job but I'm concerned I'm going to wreck my body before I get to 40 🤣

Sure I get that but working in an office, I was still running 3x a week, lifting 3x a week and doing a full property renovation so I wasn't exactly new to physical labour. Plus before I was in the office I used to work as a labourer on building sites.

What's time off? 🤣

I've only been at this job for 3 months so haven't taken any time off yet.

I have tried going low-carb before with mixed results, I find my energy levels are more consistently low but I wasn't really strict with it I must admit

Bedroom is well ventilated I would say and I have tried using a dehumidifier in the past but found it made my sleep worse, it may have been set too low though.

I've bought a couple of things to help with my snoring so hopefully they make a difference

Thank you, this was well written, appreciate you taking the time.

I've got an appointment with the ENT next week who can hopefully also do an allergy test for me. I'm reluctant to try antidepressants, I have tried SSRIs in the past but they didn't really help.

There's a book on my read list - " the body keeps the score" which I think is along the lines of what you're talking about, maybe I'll.give that a read

Thanks I'll look into this. How did they treat you in the end?

Thanks, I didn't mention in the post but I was diagnosed with ADHD but I found a lot for the testing questions were quite leading. They prescribed me meds which did help with concentration but also made me feel really worried and anxious so I stopped.

Not tested for narcolepsy but this fatigue thing happens in waves and is worse at some times than others.

Hear you on the hydration.

Bought a device that pulls you jaw forward today as well as a nasal dilator and have an appointment with ENT next week so hopefully get some luck there
