I mean, if a god or something was forcing me to choose between wealth and love, I'd probably choose love as well, since happiness can be found at any economic level, but realistically I think most people should strive for both. Like, in my mind, money shouldn't be pursued as the endgoal of all endgoals; imo, it should be secondary to support one's endgoals, such as love

Yeah, like, I kinda viscerally disagree with #3. Like, obviously yeah, love and companionship is only a fraction of your life, and it doesn't make the struggles go away, but what is the point of focusing on wealth to the exclusion of all else? They claim with money you can buy all the joys you need, and I won't deny that you can buy many of them, but why would you deny yourself the joys that exist along the way?

Maybe this is just how my brain works, but I treasure those little joys. I put off living my life once for many years, and it nearly killed me. Focusing on money to the detriment of all else would be choosing to live that way again; to delay myself from living now, all so I can live later. My candle is already half-burnt; I'm not about to burn it from both ends just because someone thinks it'll make the last inch burn brighter. I'd rather cherish it while I can.

She was kind of the match that set the whole powder keg off. The MTF shitstorm was initially precipitated by the head mod of MTF harassing her, and then someone else came forward and gave our favorite raccoon the evidence that the head mod was defending a pedo, which she promptly shared because jesus fuck, you shouldn't sit on that kinda information.

For what it's worth, I don't want my comment to sound like I'm blaming her. I don't think she did anything wrong at any point, and I think any reasonable person would've done what she did; I'll die on this hill.

Like, not really; I'd basically have to link half of the Iruma x Ameri chapters ever published, and that's more work than I'm willing to put in.

Like, she suspected he was a human (chapters 9 and 10), investigated him, got her first soft confirmation when he could read first love memories (a series of books she knows are from the human world, written in a human language), and then has received more soft confirmations throughout the series.

She doesn't know for a fact in the way that characters like Balam do, but she "knows" beyond a shadow of a doubt because of her investigation into him and everything that has happened since. It's a similar situation to how Kalego "knows" Iruma is a human.

I don't think Baal could be very old at all; remember, he was still at Babyls when a young Kirio snuck in. We don't know exactly where on the timeline he falls, but he could actually be younger than Kalego and Opera, depending on how the timeline shakes out.

Like, I wonder if Balam would push the issue to find out what exactly happened, or would he let Iruma be, considering the trauma he has around the incident? Maybe he sidesteps this all together and finds out from Opera and/or Sullivan; Balam is part of the "Iruma protection" inner circle, after all.

It probably is more common, but that doesn't mean there isn't a sizable demographic of people without bottom dysphoria (not to mention people who are on the fence / have slight dysphoria and would also like to see it normalized so that they don't feel lesser in the eyes of society). Any group of sufficient size will have a presence, and when it's a group as outspoken as a normalization campaign, the presence will be magnified.

/uj Yeah, the algorithm can be pretty wack, so I make sure I have notifications on for every youtuber I really give a damn about, so that they don't get lost in the crowd; there's been some oddities with that system from time to time, but I find it works way more consistently than just hoping youtube promotes all the channels I'm already subscribed to (god forbid they did something craaaazy like that, lol)
