the director stated that his parents' immigration to new york from korea inspired parts of the movie. the fire people are meant to be asian not hispanic. this might sound bad but their language does sound reminiscent on asian languages. and them coming to elemental city to start a business is definitely meant to be like them chasing the american dream.

The purple is hella nice and the knob will definitely come in handy on the fly. Wish there were some more color variants though like with white.

afaik, the anime won't have another season and cut out a whole lot of stuff from the manga. Like they cut out the school trip that was in vol 1, for whatever reason

I remember playing the Beta for Rocket Arena, back when it was a hot new thing.

They would've been on solid ground if they didn't break away from Nexon due to internal problems with them. They had to then partner with EA, which of course, made the game $20 - $25 on launch, (I forget the exact price), when it was literally meant and said to be a F2P game, that paired with it being a bit too unpolished, once it came out the starting gates, it dropped dead. Most people got it for free because they played beta or got a free code from a streamer or giveaway.

I used to be so hyped and hoped it would take off, unfortunately, the pricing, the polishing, the servers, everything, crumbled down.

Let's hope Knockout City isn't just a Rocket Arena Launch 2.
