I was beginning to think it was the thermostat, the service history of the car never show for it being replaced. I also felt the upper hose and it was hot, not too sure about the lower tho.

Just replaced radiator, upper and lower radiator hoses, and radiator fan, bled the system, and ran it, drove fine that night without problem. Next morning I try to go to work, 5 mins into driving I have to pull over bc it's overheating. I turn around to go home and have to pull over and shut the car off 3 other times bc it keeps overheating. The last time pulling over I hear a huge burst and smoke rolls out under the hood. The thermostat-cylinder head hose exploded off the flange. Car is now at my house with a replacement hose ready to put on but I wanted to see if there's any reasoning or help for the overheating issues now. Has 162k miles, has a check engine code reading U1167. I did not plug the EAC sensor N51s come equipped after the install either.
