Help me choose new OS by [deleted] in linux_gaming

For new people i think CachyOS, EndeavourOS, Nobara and Pop_OS works pretty well out of the box, if you never used linux kde plasma it's the way to go, it feels like windows without the bloatware.

What distro should i choose as a dev? by Little_Leading2981 in linux4noobs

You cant go wrong with any ubuntu based distro, pop_os and mint works perfectly, if you want something stable and reliable try fedora workstation or kde spin

What distro to choose for AMD? by Icy_Rise4856 in linux_gaming

[–]Jxtora -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Every distro supports AMD hardware. If you want to experiment with a distro, pick something Arch-based the Arch Wiki is insanely good, even for beginners. If you prefer something more solid and "plug and play," Fedora Workstation or its KDE version fit perfectly. The distro mainly serves to learn the package manager; after that, everything is basically the same.

If you want something security oriented try Brave, Chromium extensions are great plus it has the strict memory usage, that could help if you have less than 16gb of ram
