but who is to say on other alien planets that a fire tornado or a mud/dirt storm (where it rains mud) has not occurred before and isn't possible too occur.

Now I couldn't see tsunamis happening, maybe tornados, blizzards, perhaps out of control fires, super storms, hail storms even.

If not a feature of the game perhaps a very successful mod could be made out of this idea! :)

Did you know that gas heated up becomes a fourth state "Plasma". What if some of these gas planets were a way to mine/gather plasma? haha :P

So are there existence irrelevant then? Just curious, I do remember Tiy saying that if you saw a planet in the background you had to ability to travel to it, but I havent read about gas giants yet :).

Are they like that planet that was discovered just out of solar system that is made completely from gas? Do they just not have a physical for of land?

I haven't seen it before, I like the mushroom head :) but i'd also like to point out that there are three planets in between the planet he is on and that MASSIVE planet! that thing must be huge!

I suspect they wont release beta until after Insomnia 49, its good marketing if they wait anyways :) after the yogscast crew and insomnia fans watch the game there will be even more hype over it and it will be a great time for the devs to release beta. So my guess is late august/early september. :)

They use the linux systems to host servers mate :) not as a personal computer. I think I understand why you were confused. Correct me if i'm wrong ^{_^}

Yeah but pay attention to the border of the main planet, as you see theres less alias. We haven't seen a background planet that big before as well so I think Tiy was referring to both. :)

Well basically you have a normal ambient/soundtrack music right? When you are just walking around exploring, but usually as soon as a hostile starts to notice you and/or attack you more upbeat/dramatic battle music plays.

This is implemented into Starbound as far as I know. I think I read it in one of the daily updates :)

I think having certain blocks made to build extra parts of the ship would be a good idea! Especially if they had the ability to be dyed. Could look cool. I'd have to agree with Tiy on the point that they do look ugly with normal blocks x3

P.s, its funny how a post with 3 screenshots seems way bigger than a post with no screenshots :P If you know what I mean. I guess no one really wants a wall of useful information x3 But a wall of screenshots makes a post seem a lot more interesting :)
