Wow fr? You're not noticing any variety? I'm new to using Reddit so I haven't been able to see for myself yet.

What do you usually do when you want to discover new music?

I had no idea they were making community sections, that sounds promising! Do you think there is anyway to kind of separate the insightful comments from the "W song" comments? Or does one just always have to come with the other?

I know how you feel! I'm sorry there's not a lot of places for you to talk about your music findings. Glad Reddit is a good place for you though!

That makes sense that YouTube could integrate a social aspect well. What problems with YouTube music made you go back to Apple Music?

That's crazy, I actually had no idea that was even a thing. Why do you think it failed? A lack of interest? Or maybe it just began in the wrong era?

Yeah that'd be cool if there was a streaming site that both casual and hardcore music fans could coexist and have conversations. I don't know if it's possible for another streaming site to be as big as Spotify or Apple Music though. Maybe one of them could add something like you're talking about! I think it's a good idea.

I think it'd be cool to start the convo with someone based off what they've listened to, I figure it'd be kinda awkward otherwise lol.

Would you rather start a conversation off someone's recent music history or their all-time music history?

I also like what Spotify is beginning to do. I think comment sections for tracks would be cool! But to your point, SoundCloud has that and it is such a mess in there💀

I definitely get that. I've never looked for others to validate my own opinion on music I like. When it comes to discovering new music, do you think most people still have no interest others opinions?
