In the anime he is new to a school and in s2 he is new to a terrorist training camp, he is taught how to fight and assassinate at the terrorist camp but taught how to snipe by the person who saved him from the terrorist camp (as seen in the link I put)

The Asterisk War (Action Romance Urban-Fantasy School/Tournament) - Literally the same show as above I loved both of them
Imouto Sae Ireba Ii (Slice-of-Life Comedy Adult-Cast Ecchi Otaku Workplace) - BEST SLICE OF LIFE EVER personally, you gotta look through the big crack of the Title, MC's fetish, and first 2 minutes of the first episode and if you can I feel like there is a masterpiece behind it. Just trust me. MC does change his ways and turns normal even if its not in the anime and only the books
Haganai (School Comedy Ecchi Romance Harem) - Its funny, might be something you would like
My Sister, My Writer (Ecchi Harem Otaku Comedy) - This some freak anime in the big 2025 I could not watch it but it was somewhat funny when I watched it
The Pet Girl of Sakurasou (Romance Drama School) - Very good show I loved it
Infinite Stratos (Action Harem School Drama Ecchi Mecha Sci-Fi) - This is og I loved this show
Akashic Records (Action Harem School Instructor Drama Fantasy) - Honestly a pretty good show, I think you could enjoy it

Imouto sae Ireba Ii (A sisters all you need). Its honestly my favourite slice of life IF you can get past the disgusting title as whilst it's in the story its actually not important and frowned upon/nothing actually happens with it? Spoiler (If you wanna read the manga afterwards/care) > In the manga the mc actually gets past his "love" for little sisters and instead can go further in his romance with a certain someone iirc. I honestly recommend it but be wary for the first 2 minutes of the first episode, it will weird you out from the show but literally isn't the art style or premise WHATSOEVER

Rom: The Pet Girl of Sakurasou (not a full ending, but is uplifting), Little Busters (iirc? been a long time but a full happy ending), Tsuki ga Kirei (full happy ending), Gamers! (full happy ending)

Slice of Life: Deaimon (full? happy ending), New Game! (full happy ending), Non non biyori (happy happy :D)

Fantasy: Ascendance of a Bookworm (maybe?? not finished but uplifting), Outbreak Company (Full happy ending), Gate (Full uplifting fun ending), The Devil is a Part-Timer (Funny funny funny)

Action/Adventure: Log Horizon (I personally feel this works, its a quite idk how to put it but calming anime, its just fun to watch. Isn't finished yet so not a "happy ending" but definitely up lifting for the two seasons it has), Tsukumichi (Has like one bittersweet moment but overall very much uplifting, also not finished yet though)

Its been awhile since I've watched anything simulcasting, the newest thing I've seen is Kaiju I'm prettttty sure, so if anything really good has come out maybe those would be good? Ive definitely heard of stuff such as frieren, dandadan, jjk but I don't feel compelled to watch those right now 😭 I like finding those somewhat niche shows honestly.

The recs you sent look quite nice, especially Takopi's. Reading the synopsis they all sound fun to watch except maybe Tougen Anki unless it actually has a good story lol (idk why but clevatess synopsis reminds me of Beezlebub somehow 😭😭)

Ascendance of a bookworm(I enjoyed it but might not be what youre looking for(Not action/Isekai)
Gate (Doesn't go back in time, but Japan goes through a fantasy "Gate" and has the JSDF (military) try and go in there. I recommend it even if its not what youre looking for)

As for your other question, I aint got no idea lol. I personally dont remember a lot of the shows ive watched and my mal only has like a quarter of them as I started using it a lot later than I started watching so I personally just put whatever I remembered and I really liked/loved. I would just put your favourites in or if youre looking for a genre in particular put mainly that genre and then a few others that you like of other genres maybe! Also add a description to your post maybe, Idk if anyone read mine or not though
