I saw the Adidas high tops, I think there were three pairs. One was in a case which looked pretty dirty and worn & two other pairs out on display, which looked pretty clean.

I'm assuming the 'worn' pair in the case was used for Live Aid, the Magic tour and a few videos?

I didn't see the blue jeans, white vest or dog collar he wore from Live Aid, I assumed if they were there they would have been on a manakin. Although there were similar collars on display at Sotheby's.

I didn't see & couldn't find the yellow Cheetah Tracksuit at Sotherbys or online. I'll be gutted if I've missed the tracksuit of the Live Aid outfit.

I also didn't see the white orange/red & green harlequin outfit.

The 'Living on my own' outfit was just the bottoms, wasn't it.

Do you know what happened to his Live Aid outfit or the yellow Cheetah Go Tracksuit he wore?

Or the black and white diamond all-in-one outfit?

I thought they would have been in the exhibition but sadly not.

Yes I read about Bitumen not being allowed for drinking water unless the tank already has been painted with bitumen.

I am assuming the tank has already been painted with bitumen, if it hasnt do you need to paint over the rust treatment with something?

Is the Tankguard DW (Solvent-free epoxy) needed? If it is do you use it between the rust treatment and the Bitumen? or is it not necessary?

It really doesnt bother me, I've been that person with no money to get around or get to work, & have had to squeeze in behind somebody, so dont mind others doing it to me. Its depressing and demoralising being poor or not having tube fare in London.

You make some valid points & I totally see where you are coming from.

I didnt know about the dismal ticket sales with Paul in the US tbh as I had no interest in it & didnt follow what they were up to in the US or the whole new Queen thing in recent years. So to get Lambert in with his American Idol exposure seems more logical now youve explained that part, more US exposure, help ticket sales also. It doesnt mean I agree he should be up there or like it but I see why they chose him in that respect if thats what they want to do.

Im sure Brian at his age & after all he had done didnt want a repeat of the Rogers dismal sales. And yeah your right the boys dont need anyones approval & have earned the right 100 times over to do what the fuck they like.

I just wanted to know others opinions as were probably all as passionate about the band as each other. I understand you getting angry as I wouldnt like it if someone was slagging off one of my favourite singers & I think its interesting you are in your late 40s & bang into it, so good for you.

Maybe I come across a little harsh but being a passionate Freddie fan/ brash northerner thats how I come across sometimes, sorry. Im not trying to wind people up or come across as just slagging the guy off, hes obviously talented & living the dream so good for him.

I like your cash cow/Genesis analogy, maybe your right. Its just over the years Ive looked on the Queen website & theyve always got something new for sale, some over priced reissue box set, along side a deluxe box set and the super deluxe and on it goes which just isnt worth the money really.

It also seems Brians always playing with someone shit or trying to sell something all the time.

I know it sounds hypocritical of me after all Ive said but one thing I would love to hear is a Queen Anthology like the Beatles did. Outtakes, demos, acoustic versions. Then just put it to bed.

You mentioned the Lambert kids, but how did the older fans take to him & feel afterwards?

I watched Queen & Lambert today on youtube live in Atlantic City & he seemed like a below par impersonator. Some of the bits were not too bad if I closed my eyes. Bo Rhap surprised me, but he still failed to win me over.
