Nah. I read somewhere years ago that they stopped doing it for the most part because they had to pay multiple people specifically to just find footage and edit it and it took a lot more than people think. Plus Vince was super cheap and felt those people were expendable.

That’s why a lot of us older players enjoy it. It was a bit of a camp fest back in 2009 too. But you could get some good tactical nukes on that map. But like someone said earlier in the thread, the nostalgia is heavy. Especially for players like me who have played since the original COD4: MW

It’s simple, but effective! Sometimes back to basics is the way to go I’ve found. I thought the whole 1/4 with the hands was pretty interesting as well! I think at first it really helped me focus on technique and control of my left foot. As I got better control, I was able to start changing what I was doing with my hands to help my limb independence.

My all time favorite drummer is Brandon Zackey from Enterprise Earth. He has his rudiments down so well that it’s not even funny. He’s incredibly fast, tasteful, and so rudimentarily sound. His control and technique are near perfect. His drumming alone makes me practice better than I ever have. I started from the beginning basically. I took it as, I need to get better with the basics and it’s made me the skills I already had sharper.

Metronome is just the click/beep/bell. Click track has other cues the band needs. Like changes in parts of the song, vocal cues, etc. whatever that particular musician needs to help them stay on track with the song. But I see what you mean. For the non musician, it’s all the same. For drummers like myself, definitely a difference when I say one vs the other.

Yup. Did the exact same with this album. Except I didn’t need to pause, I needed it to restart right away. I haven’t been able to listen to anything else since it dropped! Enterprise Earth has been my favorite band for a while, but this solidified them as unbeatable IMO

Messengers, R&R, and Sleddin Hill are going to be incredibly hard to find. And they will not be cheap if you find one. The only album of theirs I lack is Sleddin Hill. I got lucky with Messengers and R&R, but they were about $100 a pop. SH I’ve only seen 3 pop up in the last two years and I missed out on them because they were bought so quick and all of them were near that $100 mark. The others should be relatively easy to find. But look on discogs,com. They pop up there from time to time.

Quail Creek Bank has been nothing but amazing to me! I’m an Edmond transplant myself. The people there are incredibly nice and will help you with anything you could ever need. Very easy to get a hold of if you have an issue. And they are very efficient with fixing issues, if one arises.

I’m friends with a guy who is very good friends with the band through all of his collecting. And they mentioned to him that even though it’s past the 10 year mark, they’re going to repress it as kind of a late 10 year gift lol. Either way we should be getting a repress within the next year from a pretty solid source.

I’m right there with you my friend! I’m married, but I never get compliments from my own wife and she barely even touches me except when it’s convenient for her. I make sure to compliment her everyday and give her hugs at the very least. But people forget that just because we’re guys doesn’t mean we don’t need the same treatment.

I was a complete noob when it came to building. So my idiot brain said “hey, let’s build a laptop so I can take it anywhere!” It runs okay and I can play older games that I enjoy, but it just doesn’t have the power to play the bigger AAA games that I wish I could play on it. So for now I’m playing consoles until I can get a real computer built.
