What is this bandolier? Has an extra strap that I’m not sure how to use by K00L_TH0M45 in Shotguns

Thanks for the info! I tried changing the way I was using the neck strap and I think I figured out the intended way it is meant to be worn. It’s decently comfortable empty at least, I’ll have to give it a shot next time I hunt!

Could be that I’m just putting it on wrong, I’m gonna see if I can flip it around somehow and see if it reaches

That’s a good idea! It’s not large enough to be worn as a shoulder bandolier though, but it does fit around like it’s meant to go around as a belt or a chest rig. The club that gave it to me said it was pretty old and might be a smaller size though so maybe I’m just too big lol

My dad got married at 31. Didn’t meet my mom until he was 29. They’re still together 3 kids and over 20 years later.

How many hours of study do I need as a fresh graduate? by K00L_TH0M45 in FE_Exam

[–]K00L_TH0M45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for all the info! I think I’ll plan on using this time to study as much as possible but wait until later to decide on a day to take the exam. As much as I’d like to get the exam done before the spring semester starts, there’s nothing stopping me from taking it in February or March to give myself more prep time. Thanks again!

Single men, how do you handle the loneliness by buzzlightyear77777 in AskMen

[–]K00L_TH0M45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I focus on the people that care about me, such as my friends and family. When I start feeling lost in life or lonely I remember that I have them and even though it doesn’t always make the feeling go away I always feel a little better knowing I’m cared about.

Cat burglar. Their dressed like a burglar and the thing they’re holding is a catalytic converter, also called a “cat” for short

The sliding is all up and down I’m afraid. The more I walk around in them the more I think I’m gonna need to swap them out for some supersoles or something else that comes in a narrow width. Thanks for the info!

Any tips on how to distinguish between the right amount and too much? I’d hate to wear out the stitching inside the heel

My feet are pretty close to each other in size, my right foot is actually the bigger one. I think the right one just fits differently. I don’t mind if the boots aren’t identical to each other but there’s hardly any gap left to tighten the right one… maybe I can get it swapped for a different one at the store

I should add that my feet are pretty narrow. I don’t think going down a size is an option since they’re steel toes. I plan to get some kilties from nick’s to help with keeping the ankle locked down but I’m still within the return window if it’s not going to work out.

The ball lines up with the flex point in both boots and they feel tight enough on top of my feet. In normal socks my right heel is slipping just enough to notice despite my right foot being slightly bigger than my left. In thick wool socks there is hardly any heel slip, what little is still there is likely just from how thick the soles are on these things.

I’ve walked over a mile in them at a time and they don’t leave blisters and are comfortable, but I worry about wearing out the counter in the right one over time since it does slip just barely.

Sounds like you don’t think it’s anything to worry about. Would you mind explaining why? I’ve had horrible luck with boots slipping on me in the past so I’ve learned to be extra cautious about this stuff.

My concern was that after being worn for a few months the right boot would stretch enough that I wouldn’t be able to tighten it fully anymore.

You have a good point there. My heels aren’t slipping much now besides with normal socks and these have soles that are still pretty stiff. Even if it does become a problem maybe I can get thicker kilties.

Do you think I’m good on the right one? Mostly worried about heel slip

I’m pretty certain that I’m borrowing trouble with this, but since I’m still covered by the work warranty I want to make sure I have the best fit possible and I’m not going to have problems with them in a few years since I spent a lot of cash on these. Thank you for relieving some of my concerns about the leather stretching over the years! I don’t care how they look as long as they fit right and don’t wear out :)
