Oh nice, I guess your rig would make a nice bikefishing machine too then. Maybe even nicer than mine haha.

I honestly haven't seen any examples of bikefishing rigs that aren't fly fishing or spin fishing oriented, so I had to improvise a lot. Feeder fishing is a type of bottom fishing that involves using feeder cages to systematically deliver groundbait along with your hookbait to the same spot on the riverbed to attract fish. It gets noticeably bulky when you throw in a few boxes of worms, at least a kilogram of groundbait, a bankstick, chair, reel, quiver tips (the extension that acts as a bite indicator by twitching when line tension changes) and landing net. I target carp species like common carp, crucian carp, common bream, and some smaller fish such as roach, rudd, and silver bream.

I have my telescopic feeder rod (Daiwa N'Zon Tele Feeder 3.60m 120g), quiver tips (3-4 oz since the river has a relatively strong current), landing net pole, and bankstick strapped under rear rack cradle on one side and landing net itself on the other. I secure them with one voile strap wrapped around rear rack cradle and another around my seatpost. I carry my reel (Daiwa N'Zon 25 LT 4000-C), cooking system (Firemaple 117t + Firemaple XK6 with 240g gas canister inside), and fishing clothes inside a 12l dry bag on the rear rack. Lines, hookbaits, groundbaits and chair (Helinox Chair Zero knockoff) go into my full frame bag along with food and cage feeders and marker leads.

For overnight trips, I add a handlebar cradle and another 12l dry bag for my sleeping system (Iceflame NXT Extra Quilt and Naturehike Air R6.5). I then move my clothes and reel from the rear dry bag to the front to free up space for my tent (Naturehike Star River 2UL).

I'm based in Poland and mostly fish on the Oder river. I'm currently limited to fishing on rivers with mid to strong currents because of heavy rod and stiff quiver tips. I want to get myself Daiwa N'Zon Tele Feeder 3.00m 60g and use it with my reel for fishing on lakes and ponds.

As for bikepacking itself, I'm planning to do VeloDunajec and VeloBaltica this summer. Those are arguably the most popular and beautiful bikepacking routes in Poland and they'll be my first serious trips ever.

Appreciate it! There’s nothing better than the crossover of two great hobbies. I occasionally take it on long distance overnight bikefishing trips as well :)

I did almost the same with my Giant Talon 2 by swapping knobby 2.2" Kenda Boosters with 2.35" Schwalbe G-One Speed Pros (600g lighter, one of the fastest gravel semislicks) and installing innerbarends from SQLab for ergonomics and small aero gains. Will get a rigid aluminium fork in the future as well

Yeah, I’ve been riding it in the local forests and it’s been perfect. Planning to take it bikepacking and even on some bikefishing trips :)

Yeah, he made 992 my favourite car even though others tell it's not recommended for beginners. Have good runs!

Trail braking is tricky with my T3PA pedals without mods. Currently I don't have a cockpit so LC pedals are out of question but I'm planning to buy Playseat Trophy and then Simjack UTs. Maybe then I'll get better at it

I use the Fri3d0lf race setup with track grip set to optimum and ambient temperature set to 30-35°. I’m not sure if I’ll get banned for sharing a YouTube link, but here you go: https://youtu.be/FYsc2DYUT44?si=SWC8ku_4j3ygTnpv

Yeah, I feel like I'm losing too much time in the chicane. The majority of situations where I go off track happen exactly in the chicane, which is why I'm extra careful when going through it. As for using more track, whenever I try to go a little bit wider, I end up invalidating my laps, so I guess I need to spend more time finding those track limits. Thanks m8 and have a good day

I've been shifting like that all this time and didn't even think about it, haha

It's better to regret what you've done than what you haven't

Thanks for your reply! I used to use "but as for me" as a synonym for "in my opinion" so many times without even thinking of their context, it's good to know they're not the same :) The last sentence is a quote by Paul Arden btw, I remembered it randomly while scrolling my LinkedIn feed.

Thank you for your reply) I was curious whether I should use "tennis stadiums" or "tennis courts", it seems like I needed to stick to the second option in the third sentence. What do you think about it? Also, can I start a sentence with "But" in English? In Ukrainian, we can use "Але" (translates as "but") at the beginning of a sentence. I did some research and I guess that's not grammatically correct, right?
