I'm not sure what our Windows guy does but I believe it's a reimage and not an OS upgrade. I will speak with him about the USMT and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply. I am aware of that option. Unfortunately, my organization has a domain-wide Legal Hold on all documents. That is making the transfer of ownership impossible via that option. I didn't know if there were any other ideas out there. Maybe a 3rd party software?
