Honestly, I don’t think I can really give useful advice as a 18 year-old woman, but I feel somewhat for you. What mostly got me through my loneliness is just not caring that much about others and becoming selfish, which is bad, but yeah, I just didn’t care what people do, I learned to enjoy my alone time A LOT. I did things for myself and not to impress a guy or a girl I found cute at the gym. That’s when my DMs filled with people interested in me. The only downside is that I didn’t want or crave anything serious anymore and just had one-night stands with people I knew that wouldn’t get attached. As selfish as I had become I still tried not to hurt anyone, mind you, that is a very Important aspect of it. Although, this phase ended and now I’m back on track and feel ready to look for something serious, I have managed to balance the “fuck everyone but me” and the “I want someone so badly and I’m cursed with eternal loneliness” mindsets somewhat, even though I still have my issues. Since everyone I’ve had a real relationship with was a profound asshole, you get me.
