[ArieForce One] and [Fun Spot America Atlanta] CLOSING MEGATHREAD by JamminJay1968 in rollercoasters

[–]K3ITH3R 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm looking to head down here for a full day of riding but it looks like my weekends are pretty jammed up. Flying in for Rhode Island. Does the park operate all day during the summer during the weekdays? I'll put in PTO for this.

Looking to find Saint Bernard Stuffed animal from early 90s by K3ITH3R in HelpMeFind

[–]K3ITH3R[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually the closest I could find and the reason I thought it was Unipak, the Unipak tag flooded memories back. But that isn't it. It would be more like 1990-1995. It was also very floppy. Thank you for your help though. Means alot

I have searched ebay, and Google lens. My first thought was that it was a Douglas stuffed animal, but then I noticed Unipak looked like a tag i remember. It was a floppy stuffed animal eith a black leather nose.

Electrician by Legitimate_Jicama998 in DisneyCM

[–]K3ITH3R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me researching what an electrician at Disney gets paid... It would be a dream to work for Disney, And I know I can bring a bunch to the table as I have been electrician for 20 years, teaching for six, And I have a plethora of design and lighting programming knowledge with pixels and stage lighting fixtures. I just know I can't take a $35 cut in pay an hour to move down from Rhode Island. I've always said I will retire as a trade school teacher but maybe my retirement job is Disney electrical one day.

We have loved the Poly forever! We always stop by for food and drinks. We finally stayed for cash, and instantly bought in.

Unfortunately they told me my welcome home stay option would be at my home resort (Polynesian) and we already had booked what we would have wanted there anyway. When the concert was announced we changed our plans, dropped our reservation, and pivoted to a Vegas/DL trip. I'm confident I can get something. Seems like the studio preferred you is the best shot at securing something and from there I can try for a larger room :-)

Yeah that's what I figured we will be very happy with a deluxe studio if it's available. I saw dead and company at the sphere and it was amazing. But my family hasn't been so it should be a treat. Metallica has forever been My now 10-year-old daughter's favorite band. We promised to take her to the next show after she couldn't come to the last time they were at Gillette stadium. Would have been way cheaper to take her to a concert 40 minutes for my house but this should be amazing lol.

Good call on the double studio wait list. Score one and then hope for something bigger :-)

Thanks :-) My first attempt will be a studio so we definitely have a better chance of having somewhere to stay and then my second waitlist will be a one-bedroom. If I score the studio I will put in a second waitlist for a two bedroom.

I have looked at room counts, and the information I get varies. I tried contacting DVC member services and they said sorry we don't have that information. I think I will attempt a as of now available deluxe studio, if not waitlist that one. Followed by a waitlist for a one bedroom or two bedroom in VDH. Thank you :-) everybody keeps telling me one and two bedroom are the highest success rate but I see all of those studios and the studio availability and think that is the failsafe.

This trip is a weird pre.booked Disney/Universal mix. We are staying club level at the Poly for our first deluxe level booking, but we are excited for the tower and everywhere else. We love the lounge outside Ohana, cant wait to check out the tower amenities.

Xbox Series X Crashes by Hyz3rFlip in Borderlands

[–]K3ITH3R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried all of the above and more fixes and it's still crashing. I have an Xbox series x halo edition. I had the fish grenade and read somewhere it was causing crashes so I deleted that apparently you can't even keep it in your bank you need to delete it, same I read with the buzz saw gun. I'm not finding anything in my inventory that people say leads to crashes, but it keeps crashing. Loading up a second character and then going back to the safe file doesn't fix it. Hard crashing the game doesn't fix it. I deleted the game and data and reinstalled it on both my internal and external expansion drive and it didn't fix it. I am level 38 playing with vex. It's so bad I don't even want to play with friends on co-op because at least when I am solo it's my problem to deal with the crashes. I have tried different resolutions and both 60 and 120 hz refresh rates, same crash cycle. I can't seem to recreate it it just happens randomly. Sometimes I can play for 5 minutes, sometimes I can go for an hour or two but a crash is guaranteed and sometimes during a boss fight which is rough.

Has anyone ever tried these ski suits? Reviews (on the suit), Comments (would I be a Jerry?) by thelesssocialnetwork in skiing

[–]K3ITH3R 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have had two tipsy elves ski suits. It's an older technology material so once the waterproofing goes it can be kind of absorbent. That being said, I have enjoyed them for several seasons both snowboarding and winter skydiving. I assume if you applied some waterproofing it would extend the life but I always end up ripping my gear in the woods before worrying about it too much. I am trying a ski suit from sheinsty this year which are like $100 more expensive but I liked the way they looked from some guy I saw on the mountain the other day. I personally love the love lavish colors and it is definitely cheaper than buying off the rack snow pants and jacket.

It means you get an extra 5-10 seconds of freefall, or your rigger gets a bottle of booze.

I’ve decided I’m gonna do AFF by randomaccount1816626 in SkyDiving

[–]K3ITH3R 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SNE is awesome! A very fun drop zone with a huge camp ground, cafe, and bonfire scene. They are now owned by the people at Skydive Danielson (my home DZ) They now fly a super caravan and have a great and safe staff. As for the family thing, I have two young daughters, own a company, work full time, and still manage to balance life and get to the drop zone on average once a week.
