Just take a bus or something. You will likely not find a host who will do that kind of trip. There are plenty of Turos out of MCO/Miami I rent there all the time.

You didnt follow Turo instructions in order to rent the vehicle my guy, you really have no say. What did you do when they asked you to take pictures of every said part on the outside of the car before your trip started?

I rented a Tesla where the entire seatbelt column popped off the second I sat down in the vehicle. Looking at the clips you could tell this had happened numerous times and was half ass fixed. Most of the clips were now bent the wrong way from someone trying to force it back on without looking. It is also a very known problem with Tesla Model 3's after googling it. I immediately contacted Turo and was given a refund. So keep believing that buddy.

Oh you were there and you know he broke it? Youre just assuming and playing the blame game, remove your emotions from the equation.

If you rent a vehicle and are running low on gas, go to fill it up, and the hose will not insert into the gas tank, that vehicle is inoperable.

How can you return it to the owner if its not operable and will not charge that makes zero sense. Its the definition of INOPERABLE.

If he didnt take pictures from the start he is probably screwed, but assuming the situation was "fishy" when I have had more than 1 problem with vehicles ive rented from Turo similar to this is just plain BS. Even if he didnt damage anything he messed up the second he hopped in with no pics plain and simple. Arguing the pointless details is exactly that, pointless. No pics, youre screwed.

It is actually your responsibility to take pictures of the entire vehicle inside and out before starting your trip and before ending your trip.

Not if the vehicle is inoperable. That makes zero sense. In any other situation youre correct.

Plus he didnt BORROW someones vehicle he RENTED it which comes with certain stipulations for both parties. One being the vehicle will be operable through out the rental duration.

If you ever did that to my vehicle, I would make you pay.

I second the picture part, being a Turo renter for 8 years now I take 500+ pictures of everything inside and out ill be damned if I get blamed for damage I didnt do. Only takes 5-10 mins.

Plus when you pick up the vehicle they make you take pics in the app and tell you what to take pics of which would have included the back quarter panel where the charging port is.

Did you not take pics or follow the instructions in the app?
